As you are in Scotland there will be no claim, as long as you’ve told ParkingEye’s DPO to erase the English address and note your permanent address for service is (Scottish address). No danger of being sued once that English address is erased.
You can’t have POPLA if P/Eye have farmed the case out to DcbLtd. Ignore them.I very nearly called them and paid today!Jeez you live up to your username!ParkingEye don’t sue anyone in Scotland yet, but if your Government press ahead with mirroring the POFA (daft ill-conceived idea that will ruin lives and overburden your courts) then for NEW parking events this time next year, there will be the horrendous power of KEEPER LIABILITY. Not retrospective but it will wreck motorists’ peace of mind.
And did you know there was one more Government Consultation coming up this Summer about the level of parking charges, that Scotland is mirroring too?You need to stick around this forum in August and add your answers to the public Consultation when we talk about it, and beg Scotland to forget keeper liability. If they can’t or won’t do that, then at least they must veto added false costs on top of already doubled parking charges.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Are you the original poster of this thread?
Looks like (based on letters I have) it was farmed to "National Debt Collections Ltd" who then sold to DCBL. Are you suggesting I contact the DPO of FirstParking with a GDPR deletion request?
The previous post was my first post on this forum.0 -
Sorry you posted just underneath someone who’s been talking about ParkingEye and I thought you were the thread starter. Forgot we were on the group thread, my bad!
No-one has sold any debt. They are not allowed to assign or sell DVLA data. The scumbags who are writing to you are merely debt recovery parasite firms who have added false ‘costs’ to grab a piece of the pie for themselves if you are silly enough to pay them. Ignore them.Are you suggesting I contact the DPO of FirstParking with a GDPR deletion request?100% yes, obviously! All the time a PPC has an old address or a choice of two, they can file a court claim to the wrong address behind your back and get a CCJ by default you’d learn about too late.
You also need to tell DCBL (not by phone...) as well. Once they and their client ONLY have a Scottish address they will not sue you.Safety beckons!So does the Government Consultation, so stick around long enough to do your best, when it is open for comments soon!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Right in that case I plan to go with this template sent to both firms (a variety of addresses if I can't find the DPO email):
To the Data Protection Officer,
This is a request in relation to Case #<case number> & VRN #<reg> in regards to the regulations outlined in Data Protection Act 2018 / General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
The addressee has since changed addresses from:
<old address in ENGLAND>
to:
<new address in SCOTLAND>
All correspondence should hereby be sent to the new address. In addition, you are required to erase the old address (<old address line 1>) from your system.
It may be helpful for you to know that data protection law requires you to respond to a request for data deletion within one calendar month.
If you do not normally deal with these requests, please pass this letter to your Data Protection Officer, or relevant staff member. If you need advice on dealing with this request, the Information Commissioner’s Office can assist you. Their website is ico dot org dot uk or they can be contacted on 0303 123 1113.
Warmest smiles,

No worries mate. See your name on 99% of threads here!@Coupon-mad is a mate-ess!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I received a final reminder from DCB LTD for an unpaid parking charge of £150 around 2 months ago. I sent a SAR and had a reply a few days ago. Today, I have received another letter titled 'Notice of Intended Legal Action'. Just to clarify from what I read in on a previous reply from this thread, I assume I'm just good to ignore this letter?
Thanks in advance.0
