Sorry Beamer, I realised that after posting and deleted that post.
Please re-read my replacement post - just above yours.I hate these group threads.2 -
You can tell the format of a UKPC (or any) PCN ref by doing a Google image search for a PCN or NTK from the company. UKPC have long PCN refs.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD1 -
From having a quick google it seems the format of reference I’ve got would work for UPKC - it’s a 13 character all numeric reference and I found some images that seem the same format for UPKC.
Having put that and VRN into UKPC site though it comes up with nothing - so I think I’ll just continue to ignore for now.0 -

I'd take a screenshot of that page, just for posterity. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I’m still just puzzled as to why I’ve never heard from UKPC (or whomever it is thinks I owe them). That’s what bugs me the most...0 -

These down and outs ignore MP's.
I think with the new CoP this will be addressed ..... "All ignoramus cowboys will respond"1 -
I am still patiently waiting for my 'Letter Before Action' and have just received a third debt collection letter from DCBL this morning entitled 'Final Notice Before Debt Recovery' I am 99.9 percent sure this is another one to ignore but just wanted to check with you guys...
there is still no mention of thier clients name on this letter, which I think I am right in saying is a crucial part of a LBA, only another threat to 'recommend to thier client to commence legal action'
I therefore believe its the last attempt to get me to give in and pay up before they bat it back to the parking company0 -
DCB Limited - debt collector (14 days - ignore)DCB Legal - legal arm (30 days - do not ignore). Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

You have to ignore these crawler letters. No mention of who their client is ? Probably the invisible man ?
It's a LBA with 30 days notice that you reply to, that's when DCBL stick their head on the block because they will add the fake £60/£70 ........ something they cannot confirm is legal.
Thereafter, if it goes to court they will sign a statement of truth about this fakery. TRAGIC ?
I know, their begging letters have already included the fake ..... that is the laughable bit2
