Yes I done all that, had a reply basically saying we are looking in to it and will be in contact. Not heard anything
Right hand of DCBL and their left hand out of sync, that is not unusual?

So, another begging letter which is not an LBA  .... what can you do with such incompetence, just wait to see if real stupidity kicks in ....
Seems to me that DCBL are heading for a huge spanking by a judge. You will pass go and pick up £95 costs plus maybe unreasonable behaviour as well.?
Add that to the £60 inconvenience payment and you could be £155 richer whilst you wait for this idiotic game to be played out

Hi guys, newbie here! I have read the newbies FAQ and just needed some advice to a letter I received following 3 letters from DCBL.
I got my final reminder on 15/02 for a charge given on 2/7/16. Given the advice from my dad, I ignored the letters but yesterday received this.
Anyone have any advice as to whether it is legit, as I haven't received a letter of claim or LBC. The magistrates court at the top of the letter, according to government website, is no longer in business. The correspondence on the letter is not the same on the government website for the magistrates court of the address they have provided and they have also not writing my full address correctly, I do not live in calstone 🙈. Also, the letter is dated 1st April, yet I received it on the 7th and it has the 6th small printed at the bottom, so if it is real, when does my 10 days to appeal start?
After much reading, I think I will contact UKPC for a SAR and have contacted the manager of the car park where the charge was given (it was a free car park up to 3 hours and I wasn't the driver, only registered keeper), though I think this process could be too late.
Sorry for the long post, thought I had it under control from reading up on your forums previously but this letter has thrown me! Any advice is greatly appreciated.

That has nothing to do with DCBL or a private parking charge. It is an official notification from the court about a fine/statutory penalty. You need to find out what it's about; you need to deal with it without delay; it is not something you should ignore.

Come back when you know the origin of the fine/penalty and we'll direct you where to seek further advice.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Tried to follow up my complaint with Dcbl and funny how it couldn’t go through and their mailbox is full. I wonder why that is? 🧐 😂

I have emailed them but am yet to have a response. There isn't anything else that I've had a fine from, so if it's not the parking charge I have no clue what it could be. If I don't hear today, I will also call. Will keep you posted, thank you

Don't understand Keith, this is a DCBL group thread for any OP with a DCBL problem
  • Hi! I know it's not DCBL related anymore but you asked to let you know...
I have finally found out that the further steps notice is because of my childs absence. I believe it's when I took him on holiday but neither me or his father (lives at a separate address) received a fine or a court attendance letter. The school also didn't tell me that my request was declined. I am well aware of the fines though and would have paid if I received the letter. Hopefully it gets resolved soon but if you have any advice or know of a thread for me to go to, anything is appreciated. 😊

    Good evening all.
A bit of a update and information to be shared for Us v DCBL.
I have now got my local MP on the case.
I have now got in our possession the SAR for UKPC.
We have not had any more letters from them for over a month now (about the same time as the SAR was sent)
For those who, like us were looking for answers on Julians Car Park in Didcot, Oxon. (Hopefully search engine algorithms will pick this up) We thought they were owned by Cushman and Wakefield. I got hold of a old DTZ employee (DTZ were taken over by C&W some yrs ago) He gave me a number of C&W, they had no idea what i  was on about. So i asked my local councillors (as pointed out to me by one of the forum big guns here ) they said that Julians Car Park is owned by "Homes England" which is part of HM Government .(I was "discouraged" not to contact them by the local councillor and not take it any further, which i found strange, and like a red flag to a bull, i did the opposite and emailed them asap and got replies) I emailed the CEO, and he came back with 2 names to get hold of. 1: Barrie Cummins and Jonathan Turner. I am in the process of emailing these 2 to see when they bought the land (Hopefully before 2016 when UKPC gave us ticket) and if they can in some way quash the PCN and get DCBL off our backs. As i have stated before, we paid for a days parking, so no one has lost money for that space, just a app issue which is why we had the PCN in the 1st place. Anyway, hope that helps.
