Just received a “Final Reminder” letter from the lovely chaps at dcbl (ltd). No doubt I will be ignoring this letter too, having read this thread. Do you guys think now would be a good time to send a SAR to ukpc

Just ignore the rubbish.  If you get a letter before claim giving you 30 days to respond come back here.

DCBL will have added their scam £60 and you can find out what to do within this thread.

YES ... SAR UKPC, waste their time and request the info they hold on you.

    hi guys.

Me again, been a while! So in terms of moving forward not much has happened - various emails saying they will look into it (from BPA & DCBL) but could take weeks due to COVID blah blah.

Anyways, received my “final notice” and they are now recommending the client to take legal action but...here’s the interesting part it says “you’ve failed to pay the outstanding balance of £60” it was originally £160...

so, do I accept the £60 offer the restaurant offered me and essentially make them pay the fine? 🤣

Show the restaurant that letter and say that you wish to accept their goodwill gesture to pay £60, which they should remit to your account (details blah blah) but then don't pay DCBL of course because this is just a useful typo to show the Restaurant to get the £60, that was and is on offer.  May as well have that bird in the hand, putting you sixty quid up for your trouble.

    DCBL won't really accept £60.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would take the £60 offered. Look at it as not paying for the ticket but an inconvenience payment
Must be paid directly to you though.

If I recall, you are the OP who showed a non compliant sign ??
