You stand where you've stood previously, ignoring any debt collector letter. You've had the latest one in the batch from DCB Limited; passing things around between debt collectors doesn't make anything any different (other than the desk on which your documents lie).If you get any letter from a solicitor (possibly DCB Legal - spot the difference!), then come back on the new thread you've already opened before being re-routed to this one. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I wish people wouldn't use phones to try to read this forum. That must be the problem because on a PC the top threads are obvious on page one.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

My fiance received a letter from DCBL for a PCN originally issued in 2015, we moved house a few times since then so it all got lost in the process really, it was forgotten about until this year - letter sent out.
We followed the advice on here ignored the DCBLimted letter also did a SAR with UK Parking Limited, the pictures and evidence they sent back was so bad (blurry images), no proof of "leaving site". I wasn't surprised to read in the SAR reply that the case has been dropped and they will be deleting my fiance's data with DCBL.
Winner, thank you for the pointers!4 -

And it's about time UKPC stopped their "DRIVER LEFT SITE" rubbish , it's never worked and never will. UKPC are just part of the scam family operated by the BPA ?1 -
Dear all.
Thank you for all the help and time you have put into the forum. I've spent many hours reading the information provided, and have done my best to try remember it all and put it into practice! Like many here, I suddenly received letters from DCBL for unpaid parking charges courtesy of AutoSec in Hull from 4-5 years back ( some of you may remember, the owner is a convicted criminal).
I sent an SAR on the 15th March, and I am waiting to hear back. However, we moved home on the 19th March, and I just wanted to confirm whether I should update Autosec (the proprietors of the fine), or DCBL?
My understanding is it should be autosec, but just wanted to confirm with yourselves.
Thanks again for all the information that is provided here. Apologies if I have missed anything or done anything incorrectly.2 -
You should send a Data Rectification Notice to the DPO of the PPC and advise them of your new address for service, require them to ERASE your old data and to inform ALL of their agents.4

I have contacted the Data Protection Officer (DPO), of autosec (the Private Parking Company, PPC).
They only seem to have one generic email, so have used that, and addressed an email to the DPO through that.
Thanks for your help, will continue collecting letters, and refer back to the forum if it escalates further. I'm still awaiting a reply to my SAR.1 -

Autosec Limited - Manchester, company number 12905143 was only incorporated on 25/09/2010.It's not clear whether their is any tie-up between the two (there are no common directors). Neither outfit is shown in the BPA or IPC AOS lists. Is there any indication in the DCBL documentation suggesting which of the above they are representing? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
