It does say in the NEWBIES thread...Find out where to send the SAR by email, by looking on the Parking firm's PRIVACY webpage, telling you where to send 'data concerns' to their Data Protection Officer (DPO).
As an aside, never ever send anything to a parking company or their solicitors using any service that requires a signature. All that does is give the intended recipient the opportunity to not sign and hence refuse delivery. All you have then is proof of non-delivery. Not quite what you want.If you want to use Royal Mail, then send it by standard first class post obtaining a free Certificate of Posting from the Post Office counter. The item is deemed delivered two working days later.Keep that Certificate of Posting as proof.3 -
If it is UK Parking Control - UKPC, use this for the data chappy: -

Sorry for newbie questions this the first time I’ve ever had a situation like this. I’m not trying to dodge a fine, I genuinely am baffled by this, 1. as it’s almost 6 years since the alleged parking offence and literally the only letter I have ever received is the one from dcbl. 2. Surely if I got a parking ticket (in a shopping centre) I’d have either a ticket on my windscreen or a fine through the post, which I’ve had neither.2. Did you move house around the time of the parking event? If so, did you update your V5C (logbook) with the DVLA?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Its a pity that no one who has received a DCBL letter hasn't taken them to task over the words in the white box making the threat stating"Cant pay? We'll take it away! "While I'm aware that its a poverty !!!!!! show on Channel 5 not everyone will be, and the white text in the black box stating "As featured on the popular TV show " is in sharp contrast making it appear less noticeable and unrelated to the highly visible cant pay well take it away threatFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Hi @Umkomaas,I guessed as much that they are scraping the bottom of the barrel. I have not moved address, which makes me question, did the alleged parking event even take place. I do vaguely remember that a neighbour along with a friend of mine who came to visit had their number plates stolen when parked outside our house on the same night, but not mine, but I’ve heard of peoples number plates being cloned and used for dodgy purposes.0

Highly unlikely. The parking event probably took place but the SAR will show you their hand.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

At least this forum can expose these jokers and Trading Standards should do so as well.1 -
Oddly enough I have recently had a 2018 ticket resurface from new generation parking; gladrags are chasing me for money (bore off) having a clear out yesterday and found the original PCN and begging letters which were originally from DCBL and you're right i had to giggle at their attempts of intimidation with their "TV ad!" Printed on the back.
To be continued I don't doubt! Might dig out the gladrags letter to see if I'm paying 2 of these over inflated charges0
