your ticket was from 2017 , so why have they sent you a random photo from another site dated the year beforeCheesyavacado87 said:
After being served with several “charges” I now have a personal vendetta against UKPC.SM1709 said:So, they sent my SAR through with about a million photos of my car, including inside??🧐
there is also a photo of a parking board that isn’t there now, so could be any old board? There’s no proof that it’s in the car park I was parked in. I’ve attached the photo of the sign, obviously if I had seen that, I wouldn’t have Parked there (even though I was told I could by the restaurant 🤨) do I still stand a good chance of fighting this with UKPC. They don’t seem to be budging 😭
Doesn’t a charge have to meet the requirements of a pre-estimated loss set out by the Office of fair trading (OFT)? This has to be a direct result of your “breach of contract”. This doesn’t take into account their office cost, staff, etc.Maybe I’m wrong, but hopefully someone will correct me if I am.0 -

Hi everyone,
This morning I have a received a 14 day letter from dcbl regarding a parking charge dating back to June 2015 which I don’t even remember getting, nor have I ever received anything in the post before this, so has come as somewhat of a shock. Having read through the comments, I understand that I shouldn’t reply to them and ignore the letter, but instead send a SAR to ukpc. Can anyone advice on how to write this SAR, as I can’t seem to find the newbie faq section. Thanks in advance0 -

The second post of the NEWBIES thread describes how to create and send a SAR.3 -
In which case, see my edited version, cheers for pointing that out @KeithPKeithP said:

Thanks guys @KeithP @Le_Kirk much appreciated. Do you guys think it’s wiser to email them requesting the SAR or post them a letter (signed for delivery) requesting the SAR. Sorry for newbie questions this the first time I’ve ever had a situation like this. I’m not trying to dodge a fine, I genuinely am baffled by this, as it’s almost 6 years since the alleged parking offence and literally the only letter I have ever received is the one from dcbl. Surely if I got a parking ticket (in a shopping centre) I’d have either a ticket on my windscreen or a fine through the post, which I’ve had neither.0
