Up, showered & dressed
Bed made, clothes picked up
Lunches made
DH has gone to work early and I'm out at work all day so no flying will happen today. Have tidied the kitchen a bit, more a case of damage limitation.
Off to do face & hair and then have some porridge7 -
Pigpen it doesnt seem fair at all. There has been a huge increase in foodbanks/food support schemes around here and we live in a tourist area where people sell big houses down south and retire to, so people are generally well off. I fear that things are going to get a lot worse before they get better.
Fayolle there is a bedtime one that is 10 minutes, which I like if I dont have much time. I used to hate Yoga but now I have worked it into my day and most days I do enjoy it.
Awake early and out of bed but no motivation to actually do anything. Need to get showered and on with the day, DH can empty the DW when he gets up. I might take tomorrow as a lieu day, need to use some hours up.8 -

Good morning!
I am up, dressed & breakfasted. Emails & bank accounts checked. I am just drinking my cuppa and formulating a plan. The rain has stopped and the sun is out, so I may venture into the garden! I need to poo pick at the very least. The food bin needs emptying, but I need to shred some paper first to mix with it in Lottie the Hottie. I am running low on woodchips too! I will probably walk the dog for my daily exercise, although I am tempted to venture to the allotment! I think the dog will win because he didnt go out yesterday.
Round 1
Sort some paper for shredding
DW
Well, its a start!
Both DDs had their vaccines yesterday. I haven't heard from DD2, but DD1 is feeling very rough 😥 Apparently its quite common in younger people, but only lasts 24 hours.
Have a good day everyone! Hugs to those that need them.7 -

You're definitely right about the muddy paws, kazwookie. Coming back in from the garden,Rosie runs across vinyl flooring in the utility, DR and hall before reaching the LR carpet and diving into one of her nests. I have taught her that if the door between the utility and DR is shut (i.e. if I have remembered to shut it) she has to sit on the mat and lift one paw after another for me to wipe before I will let her through. She's very good about it, but if I have left the DR door open, she is straight through like a rocket.
This morning I have
- made the beds
- FUPA clean washing
- hoovered all through downstairs
- dusted the LR
- watered the plants
- struggled for 10 minutes before finally getting DH's new, low-compression stocking on over his dressings - goodness knows how we would cope if he had the high compression ones. He has a slidy plastic sock thing that goes on first and pulls out when the sock is in place, but it wasn't a great deal of help when he got his big toe stuck in the seam
- packed him off to his farrier (=chiropodist!) and the greengrocers almost next door for a F&V top up
- took advantage of his absence to steam mop the kitchen, hall, DR and utility (see above!)
- attacked the remains of the bag of yellow-sticker almonds in their shells that I bought as a Christmas treat: I didn't have enough strength in my hands to open them with the nutcrackers and ended up today literally going at them with hammer and tongs
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round xxx

Going to get some food and have a look at my course....9 -
Iona.. we definitely have black marks.. my son worked for our local MP for a time and things did not end well. Most MP's are too aloof and removed from reality it seems. The poorer people are not represented well enough because they can't afford the time off from their minimum wage jobs to canvas and hold clinics or pay the subs required to be a pat of a political party. I tried that many years ago. My son also tried it when the MP was killed he was nominated to take her place and he turned it down in the end because he had just got a better job and couldn't afford the time. I will give it a try though if I can fit it in.. 4 zoom calls, a music lesson and usual house stuff today.. and I forgot a zoom last night.. I'm not very good at this.I desperately need to get some washing done but its raining and the airers and doors are all full.I need to get a few bits of food for Boogs friend.Fiddle with the third Tesc0 order.Package ebeast parcels .. 2 to go I think. 1 had bids the other was a bonus.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7
