Most women DON'T see that as important?
If not, what is?
Or - and I'm generalising here - as this board appears to have a blessing of unicorns on it:
What women actually want;
18-28 Looks, Money, Status
28-34 Money, Status. Looks
34-40 Money, Status, Give me a child
40 - 65 Money, Status
>65 A Pulse
:~)
Even women know that sites like that are full of fake female profiles, it's hardly a better sample group than here. At least I'm fairly certain no-one posting here is a bot, my algorithms haven't detected another of my kind. Beep boop.0 -
An easy going even tempered non - materialistic non-workaholic left wing hippy type into alternative music and quiet life. A decent kind man who adores me and whom I adore.
Not forgetting very tall, slim and dead handsome with a full head of gorgeous long black hair.
I've just described my husband of 17 years. ❣1 -

I don't know how old you are OP but the main thing women generally look for is status, confidence, ambition and wealth.
Feminine men in touch with their feelings get nowhere.
Edit.... it helps to be taller than them too.
I do agree re taller though. Always loved a very tall man, over 6 ft!0 -
I think what's being demonstrated here is that there is no single answer... What an individual woman wants in a partner can vary over time as well; she may not be certain herself.
I think most of us do have a "type"; which might be physical or personality or a mix - but that also changes over time and isn't totally exclusive.I need to think of something new here...2 -

The ''give me a child'' point is spot on but they realise they left it a bit late and have to settle for someone they wouldn't look at twice a few years earlier.

interesting that money appears irrespective of age.
Just like women are naturally attracted to successful men, men are attracted to a womans looks and youth.
Again, completely normal.0 -
I', female and met my male partner a year ago and we immediately clicked. I just knew he was 'the one'. What that looks like on paper, however, is hard to define. I love that he makes me laugh, he makes me feel safe and supported always. We have common goals (we'd both like a family together and are savers who are trying to build for our future, for example). I'm comfortable around him at all times, through the ups and the downs. Whether I have good or bad news, he's the first person I want to tell. We are life partners in all ways.
I realise this is a fairly new relationship, but he was with his previous partner for twenty years - married for fourteen of those - and he's told me that if he'd met me first he'd have married me instead. I've never been married but have had a handful of long term relationships and have NEVER felt this way. I'm not sure how to put it into words but our chemistry just works.
Each person is different, and the values we hold will vary from person to person, so it's hard to say 'what women want'. That will be a different narrative for everyone.0 -

:~)Perhaps they are not all looking for a millionaire, but someone with a little more money than they have.Someone that wants similar things to them, someone of a similar class.

Doesn't matter to me, I'd be fine dating a woman taller than me or shorter than me. Clever, kind, passionate are the things that matter to me.
