I volunteer at a vaccine centre and the recommended time is now 8 weeks.
Is this for everyone or only certain age-groups/areas?

Everyone. Until a few weeks ago it was only for the over 50s. Now thanks to the second dose producing a much better response to the delta variant it’s for everybody.

@silvercar I’m in Northern Ireland. I just want to double check this is for all areas before I cancel and try to rearrange my booking.

Sorry, I only know for definite about England.

th NI website states “ the Department of Health has reduced the interval between doses from 10 weeks to 6 weeks, for those appointments scheduled after 14h June 2021. If your appointments were scheduled prior to this date, there is no requirement to change your 2nd dose appointment. Please attend your appointment as scheduled.”
