Who"s had two doses of vaccine?

I have no doubt that some vaccine will be wasted, from being dropped on the floor to forgotten about in a cupboard. The issue was whether there was an instruction in the NHS to throw vaccine away rather than give it to the wrong people, and the minister confirmed that the instruction was to ensure no vaccine was wasted.
I imagine Jeremy was talking about a metaphorical cupboard.......Morrigan_2020 said:
It’s stored in the freezer then the fridge and treated as a controlled drug for tracking purposes, there’s no reason why any vial would ever by put in a cupboard!Jeremy535897 said:
With over 100 million doses, there will no doubt be many bizarre things that happen to the odd vial.Morrigan_2020 said:I can guarantee you that no vaccine will get forgotten about in a cupboard!!0 -

Social Media , no more need be said. The most unproductive tool ever invented. Creating fake news intentionally.Jeremy535897 said:
There was a rumour (on social media I think) that instructions had been given to throw away vaccine rather than give it to the "wrong" group.JamoLew said:An instruction does not reality make -- or something.
I can more or less guarantee that some doses are wasted and/or binned, it's inevitable. But in the grand scheme of things as long as the quantity is relatively small -- who cares.
Anyone who suggests/states that absolutely NONE is wasted, frankly is lying3 -
I wouldn't know. I never use it.Thrugelmir said:

Is anyone on here worried about side effects?
Ive had one does of Astra Z and have cancelled second dose twice because I am a bit dubious!
I was quite poorly with 1st dose, just wondered if anyone else feels the same??1 -

I had my second jab last week. The first one made me feel proper rotten for a good 2 or 3 days, after the second one I got similar but milder symptoms. I reckon that shows it's at least doing something :-) And let's face it, the side-effects of the jab have got to be a whole lot better than getting full-on Covid. A mate of mine got Covid last year, right towards the start of it all. He said he's never been so ill in his life, and he reckons that no matter how bad a reaction you might get to the vaccine, it's nothing anywhere near like getting the real thing.

I had sweats and chills as well as shivering overnight following the first dose, was completely OK the 2nd morning after. I'm more than happy to be carrying antibodies and will definitely be having the 2nd dose - anecdotally it's been less harsh on the system.Liz65 said:Is anyone on here worried about side effects?

Typhoid vaccinations which are necessary for some travel destinations have similar side effects.booneruk said:

I'd rather take my chances with the vaccine, than Covid.1
