Application submitted 2nd sept, awaiting offer
Update: Another phone call to NatWest again today after they haven't called us back twice this week. A much shorter call time today if anyone needs to get through, approx 30 mins.
The delay with our offer being issued is due to a note on the valuation. It passed but a note about them not being able to get into the roof space meant an extra review was needed - but delays due to staffing etc on their side mean it's all slowed down.
A relief to hear everything is fine rate and affordability wise but this whole process has been really frustrating1 -
14 working days since submission and still no update for us! The current service levels have increased by an insane amount as well. Hope we'll hear back by the end of next week.0

This is my timeline from the online tracker, everything seemed to happen fairly quickly until after the valuation. The application was submitted via broker around 17th August, and the survey (in person) was completed 2 weeks later on 31st Aug. I then received an email from my broker confirming Natwest had requested further info (it is a remorgage with further borrowing for a loft conversion, so they requested the builders quote etc.). This was promptly returned on 8th Sept, however I noted on the email it stated "please provide information by 4th October". Nothing further on the tracker, until 4th October to state they had received the information and are now assessing it. My assumption is they now have 8 working days to assess which will take us to 14th October, just hoping what we have sent is acceptable and they don't request any further info!

Any updates from anyone? I’m really hoping ours gets to underwriters this week but logged on this morning to see that underwriting has now gone to 20 days. Not sure if this means more days will now be added to the application submitted on the 20th September.0

Nothing. Tracker still just exactly the same, "you are on step 1 of 3"....etc.
Fingers crossed for everyone this week.1 -

All of our documents were ticked off on the tracker 30 minutes ago but no further information so far! We're on working day 15 today, employed & self-employed. Hopefully we'll hear from our broker soon.0
