Hi All,
I am about to apply with NatWest next week, 85% LTV, Myself (Employed) and someone else (Self-Employed), this is for a residential home.
It would help if any of you can share your timelines here and your overall experience with NatWest.
Thank You

When you submit an application it is taking around 3-4 working days to assess, it may be slightly longer with the self employment but I think they have more or less caught up on that side now.

Wow they sound to act fairly quickly.
Do they normally instruct for valuation whilst assessing the case OR do they assess first THEN instruct for valuation ?

Im not sure! I’ve gone direct and as ACG said it took about 3/4 working days, applied Monday, Valuation instructed on Friday. They’ve asked for a couple things; last payslip from old job to confirm continuous employment.  I’m also only applying for 3x my salary so I don’t know if that helps?
Maybe the rush of stamp duty over? I’ll keep you posted.

Got my mortgage offer through today. I wasn’t expecting it to be this quick (less than two weeks from application to offer).
All the best with your application!

Wow that was quick! Huge congrats! I’ll see what happens tomorrow, may go with another lender as self employed applications is becoming a nightmare at the moment due to covid!
    Congrats once again!

Application submitted on the 8th and offered this morning, 11 days/7 working days. They are pretty much back to the old Natwest now.
