We're arranging our Natwest mortgage using L&C, and went through all the credit checks in a day:
submitted docs: 19/1
submitted application: 20/1
Credit checks completed: 20/1
And had a phone call this morning (21/1) to say they have arranged the valuation for next week. Very impressed with L&C and Natwest right now.0 -

Is 7 working days long from the full application to today without hearing back anything? We applied with a broker.0

I’m still waiting from NatWest and we applied before Christmas! Hoping to hear something tomorrow - Mortgage Advisor has chased but apparently they are experiencing backlog of applications?0

My application;
Submitted 19/12/2020 - FTB 90% LTV
Valuation 14/01/2021 - Passed
20/01/2021 - Natwest requested copy of passport for co-applicant. Submitted instantly.
21/01/2021 - Offer received.
Just under a month. With Christmas and New Year in between, I am impressed!0 -
Hi Guys,
I ended up going with Barclays in the end as I managed to find a really good broker that audited my case, and had to change things up. Barclays offered within 2 working days, subject to valuation, so just waiting on the valuation to be booked and formal offer to be sent!Hopefully you all get good news from NatWest.1 -

I had another go to offer yesterday, submitted on the 12th, offered on the 21st.
That included a 4 day hold up due to the estate agent needing to provide a letter to the lender for something.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I'm beginning to think 9 working days without any news other than document requests is a bit long.0
