Our Timeline with Natwest so far:

    29/03/2021 Online mortgage application submitted
30/03/2021 Documents uploaded via Digidocs (ID, Payslips, Bank Statements)
31/03/2021 Valuation instructed for 09/04/2021 *delayed by 5 days due to Easter Bank Holiday
09/04/2021 Valuation took place (this was a Friday)
12/04/2021 (Monday) Natwest confirmed the property was down valued by 29k and have passed the info to the underwriters
15/04/2021 Natwest confirmed their max lending amount and ask us how we wish to proceed as it was less than what we asked for
17/04/2021 (after negotiating with our seller etc) We have spoken to Natwest to confirm their max lending amount is fine and we still wish to proceed

And that brings us to today - 19 days from application submission and we are pretty much sorted as far as the application goes, now its down to solicitors etc. The house we are buying is empty and the seller is hoping to complete ASAP so fingers crossed

    *update*

19/04/2021 Morgage offer received from Natwest
(insert 10 days waiting for searches to come back here)
    29/04/2021 Funds ready for release

Completion date set for May 7th.
Similar situation but 10k less value - however was told to reapply as mortgage was done online?

How reliable is the natwest tracker?
Ive given them the benefit of the doubt so far but I reckon my mortgage broker is simply dreadful.
    Application Submitted 13/04
    Valuation Completed 27/04
No information from broker at any point other than an initial email stating that the application with Natwest had been submitted (actually the email incorrectly stated a different lender). Prior to agreeing to go with Natwest I was advised that I would have the option to pay for a Survey to take place with the valuation, the valuation went ahead and the option wasnt presented to me so arranged with a different surveyor afterwards.
I finally got through to my broker and asked them for the mortgage ref number and viewing the tracker it shows 3 actions from the 27/04 (proof of deposit requested, proof of additional income, check voicemail we need to discuss application).
Which is why I pose the question on how reliable the information on the tracker is, if Natwest really have been waiting for those 3 things (for a week now) is that fairly outrageous?

Hi have gone from AIP to full offer today with NatWest through a broker in 2 weeks. Have found tracker very accurate. When they requested a payslip and broker uploaded it showed writhing a few hours that it had been received and was being reviewed. This morning it moved to offer on the tracker and 15 mins later it was emailed to me.

When the items are ticked on the tracker - does that mean it’s already been reviewed?

I think it’s pretty accurate - and it’s been updating fairly quick

Im guessing your broker will be in contact once the valuation has been done, shouldnt be too long as they are generally very quick to get the valuation sorted.
