I will probably contact the broker today to ask if anything has been updated. With Halifax the whole process took a week.0

They use Equifax so it will show on Clearscore but not on Experian.0 -

I am about to apply with NatWest next week, 85% LTV, Myself (Employed) and someone else (Self-Employed), this is for a residential home.It would help if any of you can share your timelines here and your overall experience with NatWest.Thank You
Timeline:
- 05/11/2020 - Application Submitted @ 3pm
- 06/11/2020 - Valuation fee taken out bank account @ 9am
- 12/11/2020 - Desktop Valuation instructed @ 3pm
- 16/11/2020 - Valuation received by Natwest @ 6am
- 18/11/2020 - Underwritter reviews payslips @ 12pm
- 18/11/2020 - Mortgage offered and solicitors instructed to proceed @ 2pm
We are FTB, both in salaried full time employment, no furloughs, we're not using help to buy, we're buying a new build and we used a mortgage broker. Everything took a lot quicker than expected. We're due to complete in June 2021.
Also our mortgage broker did our affordability checks, deposit proof, payslips and bank statements all prior to application submission so they used that to get our AIP, then the timeline starts from the day the full application was made. I believe that Natwest did a hard credit check during AIP and haven't done one since (including full application) .2 -

We've also received ours, it was 2 weeks in total. A bit slower than I thought but the rates are quite good1

Hi, I applied for my natwest mortgage last week (porting and borrowing a bit more). When I check the online mortgage tracker, everything is ticked as completed apart from the valuation which is happening in Feb. Would that indicate that it is all approved subject to valuation? Broker seems to think so. I assume underwriters would have done their bit if this is all ticked off?0

While no expert, I'd say it looks like it.1
