  • After submitting an online application (direct) on 22/09/2022, Futher docs requested 23/09/2022 and 04/10/2022, here's my tracker:

Thanks to everyone for giving updates on their timelines!

We got in by the skin of our teeth with a <4% application on 29/9 but no tracking number or other comms since then. Trying to assume it will just be a bit longer with the volume of applications but doesn't stop the nail biting.

Has anyone else applied last week and had any progress?
  • @Ayla172 We applied on the 20th September. Full valuation done on the 23rd but absolutely nothing since.
My mortgage broker rang them on the 26th September and was told that it wouldn’t even be looked at till the 17th October.

I honestly can’t believe how long the process is, on the 17th they might then request more info then go to the back of the queue again.
  • Hi - we're also waiting ages for Natwest.
Application submitted on the 2nd september all documents completed by 5th, valuation 23rd.
We've now had to call three times to chase - spending over an hour waiting in queues. I've had a few mortgages with NatWest in the last 10 years and the service and process this time round is terrible.
Really regret applying with them this time around!

I have a tick by we are now awaiting your valuation - it's been like that for week.  I had a call saying I had been turned down due to my credit score but everything else seems to be progressing as the conveyancers have been instructed too.

So you got turned down, but it’s still progressing? Who told you it had been declined

Someone called me last week - but all the actions got updated as ticks after she called.  Just all seems odd

If you don’t mind me asking was your credit score bad or really bad? What’s your mortgage advisor saying

Its not bad - they couldn't tell me why it had failed.  I applied directly

  • @Stella76 Oh no, so have you spoken to them since to see why it’s still processing?
Can I ask what date did you apply.
