Good luck to you, the valuation is the most stressful part as far as I'm concerned, as it's mostly out of our hands0 -
FYI just called to ask what type of valuation they are doing. Advised a desktop one on Tuesday 2nd August. Asked while she was on the phone about documents and confirmed that all is approved subject to the valuation. Hope that helps!0

Hi all, I've put in a joint application to NatWest via a Broker.
The broker has been excellent, and very patient considering we are both first time buyers and have approx. 1mil questions!
However it seems to be taking a while and we're a bit nervous because we have some historical (not any more recent than 4 years ago) blemishes on our credit files.
We got our AIP in June, found a property and had the offer accepted at the end of June.
The full application went in on July 11th (noticed there is a mark on my Experian from this)
Aside from early last week where they asked for my partners proof of right to stay here as he is not a UK citizen, there hasn't been any word.
I know it's within the timeframes just now and we're really hoping for confirmation this week as we have a completion date the solicitor is working towards of the 19th August. Does anybody have a similar experience and know if this is unusually held up or pretty typical for the moment?0 -
When the tracker tells you 'we need to discuss your application. Please call us on...' and you can't until tomorrow so you're sat worrying about what they could want...0

Thank you. I rang up this morning and they said there was an outstanding payment for the Homebuyers Report. We had paid it the day our application went in and our digidocs acknowledged we had paid everything etc. The surveyor was already booked by Natwest for tomorrow as well. When the lady refreshed it, it said all received, so they don't seem to know why we are being asked to contact them. She said she'd sent an urgent note through to the team.
But then our advisor we did our application with sent us an email to say that everything is approved with underwriting subject to the valuation so there doesn't seem to be problem. The Twitter support team said to just ignore the message on the tracker as it seems to all be going through fine. Either way, it seems to be progressing nicely for us all around. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

our application went in the beginning of May, and we got our offer 20th July. Both FTB.
Similar to you, My partner is not a UK citizen, but does have settled status, do we just need to send evidence of that.
Fingers crossed you hear something soon.1
