What was peoples timelines from NatWest receiving the valuation report to getting the offer? I’ve seen a couple of people saying a couple days and a couple of people saying a couple of weeks! 🫣

I think it depends on your circumstances. We applied on 25th May and the valuation was only booked last week for the 21st July. I saw the offer on the tracker yesterday. My Hubbie is self employed and the valuation was only booked when the underwriting checked all of our documents.

Hey all, have applied direct to natwest to see if we can remortgage early to a new 5 year fix (currently in year 2 of a 2 Yr at an already high interest rate and that lenders product switch rates are climbing every month, natwest payments would be lower than what we currently pay and give me peace of mind to fix for 5 years!) Anyway, today they updated the tracker requesting more info, and instructed the valuation. Is that a good sign? Thanks!

Does anyone have a timescale on when their valuation was booked in? I've called the EA and they haven't heard anything. They're chasing us to instruct searches but we'd really like to hold off until this comes back OK

Mine updated on my tracker today to say valuation requested and I got an appointment for 5th Aug. That's for a remortgage so that's why I know the date. Some seem to be done within a day but I would guess that's a desktop valuation, mine is an in person.

Hi, just out of interest how long did document review take? We’re at the 7 working days quoted and still nothing.

I submitted mine on 19th July and got the responses back today so I think 8 days? They have requested further info and instructed valuation so I'm hopeful that's a good sign

Wonderful so hopefully soon we submitted ours on 20/7. Yes ours said they only do valuation once they are happy so that definitely sounds positive.

Hopefully, it's a remortgage and they are paying for the valuation too so I really don't think they would have booked it if they were gonna say no 🤣
