NatWest Mortgage Timescale 2021

NatWest called me yesterday and asked for a few more documents to be uploaded (proof of deposit, my partner to resubmit his passport, questioned a few things on our bank statement), and she said valuation had been instructed. I rang again today to clarify what exactly needed to be uploaded as DigiDocs was saying I had to upload other bits that I’d already spoke on the phone about - and at this point NatWest advised the valuation had been booked for 18/07. So now we wait again! Glad that it is moving for us both though!euphoriik said:I was told by COP tomorrow but just had a call and my first set of documents has been reviewed, got a couple more like gifted deposit letter etc so hopefully things might speed up a bit 😊0 -
I’ve already had my extra documents looked at and ticked off, my valuation is also Monday, hoping it’s going as fast for you!tashak010 said:

I began my mortgage application on 5th May. I have a huge deposit (over 25%), a fabulous salary, no credit issues and a 30 year track record as a NatWest customer. We are now 10 weeks into this process. Every time we try and chase this application we have new (and unnecessary) docs to provide. Either too much time has passed and therefore 'technically' they no longer have the last 3 months bank statements, or they want proof of things they no longer need, like deposit statements which have already been provided etc. The people were buying from think we are just playing games with them. We are using London and County brokers who keep telling our estate agent different stories and basically lying. The whole thing is a total mess. Have just been asked for another document today that they already have, and they are now telling me it'll be an additional 16 working days despite the fact that they told me over the phone last week that the mortgage was finally fully approved. I am literally pulling my hair out. NEVER AGAIN NATWEST!!! NEVER AGAIN0

What an awful experience!! Tbf ours hasn’t been much better either. I certainly wouldn’t recommend them.0

Tracker has stayed the same from the 14th with no new updates. Does anybody know what this means? Or what else it looks they may be waiting on.

Have you rung them yourselves. I have found that when I started chasing, things started moving quicker.skepdean said:I began my mortgage application on 5th May. Updated timeline for me, applying direct with no broker FTB 5% deposit with a perfect credit history.
01/07 Sent documents to Natwest
03/07 Rang NatWest to make aware of a gift to deposit
14/07 First lot of documents ticked off and asked for more and instructed valuation
15/07 All documents ticked off
18/07 Valuation carried out
19/07 Valuation report received by NatWest
just awaiting them letting me know! 😊0 -
Hi all. Just thought I would share our timeline. We were moving house and moving mortgage from another lender. Husband in a new job (started in June) and my income is a bursary.
Submitted full application 30th June.
Hard search done 30th June.
Full mortgage offer received 15th July.
No communication or updates in between!1 -
