Hi everyone, finally had some good news and all my documents where approved this morning and I am waiting on email with the official offer. How soon has everybody else received their offer after documents approved? Thanks
Hey just curious, how many days after submitting the documents did it take for them to be approved? I was told up to 7 working days and I’m on that now ☹️
Hey, I was told up to 7 working days too. Now on working day 9 since submitting application (29/06), 8 since they had updated tracker to say they’d received the docs (30/06). Rang this morning and they said timescales are longer currently that it’s saying online, but they said I should hear by COP Thursday latest.. We will see.

Hey! That’s great news. Was this the first you heard after submitting your application? Had they already requested/completed a valuation? Thanks for the updates, it’s good to know how others are getting on.

Not the first, I have been chasing them up everyday, the only way that things get done. My valuation was done two days after my application was submitted and came back good straight away. I received my official offer today, 4 hours after they had confirmed they where happy with all documents and the loan was offered.

    Hey,
Have you received your offer yet? My currently shows as all ticked but no further update.
  • Hi everyone,

Newbie here!! I've been lurking for past couple weeks. We are FTB, and we applied for our natwest mortgage on 7th July. MA said could take up to 10 days. I'm hating the wait!
We gave our mortgage advisor all our documents and he said he would update us when he next heard from natwest. I think we are a pretty straight forward case... But I know from reading some of these comments, that doesn't really mean much. We are hoping to buy a new build and are going down the help to buy root.
I'm just super nervous. I don't have the mortgage tracking number so can't track it. I saw a soft search on my file today... It was for a anti money laundering search. I'm assuming this was the solicitors we have appointed. It's strange cos I had a hard search from natwest the day after our application was submitted, but now it seems to have disappeared, anyone had this happen?

Update from us. Finally got confirmation of offer after applying on the 28th April. Simple case, both employed etc.

There doesn’t seem to be much consistency, but I do think you need to chase them. When I complained waiting for the underwriters delay, they agreed to do it within 24 hours. I then called Monday to see why the valuation still hadn’t been done and the call handler got it listed and said it would be booked within 48 hours. Our application was registered 25.5 and I drew to think how long we would have been waiting without a few prods. Finally had a call from the estates agents today to say the surveyor had been in touch 👍🏻

I was told by COP tomorrow but just had a call and my first set of documents has been reviewed, got a couple more like gifted deposit letter etc so hopefully things might speed up a bit 😊
