NatWest Mortgage Timescale 2021

@madamegeorge wow, that's really good!!
I was hoping ours would be fairly quick, but our valuation isn't booked in till 28th, which I was abit gutted about. Our broker originally said would take around 10 days. He hasn't asked for anymore documents as of yet, but we do have a fair bit prepared incase he does. Everything else is in place we are just waiting on natwest now. I'm assuming underwriting isn't done till valuation is back.0 -
@Kayleighwhiteley it feels like forever when you're waiting but the 28th isn't that far off.
I'm waiting to hear back from the seller on accepting a brought forward exchange and that has me churning too. It's such a stress isn't it? There's really nothing like it.
For me, I made sure I had plenty of bank statements dating back well longer than was being asked for just in case. I downloaded 12 months. I was asked for 3 months and then the transaction list bringing it to present time to cover a particular item. No harm with being over prepared.
They advised broker that they were happy with all documents and the underwriting prior to the valuation. I'm in Scotland, so with the Home Report it was just a desktop. That may have been a factor in them tipping off the broker that the offer was there for me subject to the survey. You're good so far so hopefully a good outcome! There doesn't seem to be any definite order to things with any of this. Sometimes you can be asked for more evidence after the valuation and sometimes it's as quick as mine. I hope for you it's real quick.1 -

We are in the same position, anybody know what the deal is here?

Another timeline for everyone to go by
Mortgage application submitted - 14/07
Valuation instructed 19/07
Received mortgage offer - 21/07
This was first time buyer, joint application.
There was no communication in between those dates.We submitted any documents our mortgage advisor asked for (just the usual bank statements, payslips) - I had been off sick the month prior and asked my work to write up a letter to state I was back into full time employment etc and the mortgage advisor handed this in with the rest of the documents. I think this helped them not need to ask more questions.
They assessed valuation and sent us the mortgage offer both on the 21/07
7 working day turnaround, very pleased!Good luck to everyone still waiting, hope you hear soon!!0
