  • Broker just said Natwest have reviewed my documents and they're all happy with it. Does that mean I've passed the underwriting/affordability checks or does it just mean that they won't be asking for any more documents and they've actually yet to check affordability?
  • Valuation survey showing as received on tracker. Does anyone know if Saturdays count as working days??

We received an email saying the mortgage was agreed subject to valuation but we went direct. Maybe ask your broker?
  • Yay full mortgage offer received yesterday so yes they do work Saturdays!!! :-)

Time line if anyone is interested:
17 July - offer made on purchase property and accepted
22 July - full mortgage application started (already had AiP)
24 July - one hr mortgage advisor zoom chat
27 July - two hr mortgage advisor zoom chat. All paperwork signed and credit check done
28 July - received text confirmation valuation survey booked for 20 August
02 Aug - email confirmation that accepted pending valuation
20 Aug - valuation done and uploaded to Natwest
21 Aug - confirmation email received

    Very relieved! :-)

I did, but he hasn't got back to me yet so thought I'd ask here in case anyone knew.
  • Mortgage offer received! Very impressed with how quickly Natwest has processed it.

    Method: Broker
    Submission date: 17th August 2021 (t = 0)
    Natwest said they're happy with documents: 20th August 2021 (t = 3d)
    Mortgage offer received: 23rd August 2021 (t = 6d)

When Natwest said they were happy with my documents there was no mention of when the valuation of the property would be done so I wasn't expecting to hear a decision so soon.
  • Morning all,

Just a quick question on how the process works once you receive your mortgage offer from NatWest; do they send an electronic copy to your solicitor? Or is this a hard copy via post? Struggling to get replies / confirmation from my solicitor due to the demand.

    My timeline:

16th June - Submitted via Broker
18th June - Mortgage offer subject to valuation
19th June - Asked to submit EWS1 Form
15th August - EWS1 form obtained from developer
17th August - Full Mortgage Offer
