Wed 4th August - hard credit check carried out as per Equifax (we went via a broker)

Fri 6th August - our broker asked us a question that NatWest sent him

Tue 10th August - eSure contacted the EA to book in a valuation (we don't know the date this will be done yet)

Just wanted to provide an update. Things seem fairly quick so far. We're 40% LTV and affordability etc is fine, but it's interesting they're still doing a physical valuation. I guess that is just NatWest's process now.

Hi all,

A quick (and maybe silly question) but my mortgage application with Natwest is currently at the "A valuation has been instructed and we are now awaiting your client's survey report." stage, last updated yesterday afternoon.

How/when will i know when this is taking place? Presume they will get in touch with the EA to book it in?

Hello, that's right. EA will get an update along with your MB if you have one. 
Check my guidelines. EA did not get call instantly when NatWest instructed Legal and General to carry out. They called on 22nd July to EA and scheduled it for 29th July. Also, on 22nd July MB got update from NatWest about date. Thanks

So valuation has been done today and report has been sent to Natwest already!! Had a text to say they will review it and be in touch if they need anymore information. Is this a standard response?  The nerves are really kicking in now

I’ve literally just got my mortgage offer emailed 🎉

I’m so happy 😊

The valuation was done on Monday and NatWest let me broker know yesterday that they had received it , so was pulling my hair out waiting to find out if everything was okay. 

A massive weight has been lifted .

Yes this is standard . 
We had our valuation done on Monday and for the same message via our broker .  The responds time is within at the moment is 48 hours.

So you will hear in the next few days

Just checked my application portal and the valuation has been carried out already. Can only guess this was a desktop valuation seens as we submitted the full application only yesterday. Now waiting for the outcome of the valuation and our docs to be reviewed.
