  • @vi009na - ours looked like that while the underwriter was reviewing the valuation and then when to showing as complete before ithe tracker updating a few hours later with the mortgage offer. So not an issue unless they contact you. Let me know when you hear x

    Congratulations.
  • Congrats to everyone getting their offers. This is my Natwest timeline to date:

17 July - Offer accepted in town 300 miles away from where I currently live.
22 July - back home, call bank to move from AiP to full application. Initial affordability done on phone and appt made with mortgage advisor (wanting to port current mortgage)
24 July - zoom meeting with mortgage advisor. Fact finding and more affordability
27 July - second zoom meeting with mortgage advisor, agreeing type of mortgage, period etc. Signed all forms via digidocs and paid valuation survey fee. Credit check passed during meeting, advised all ok pending valuation.
28 July - text to say mortgage valuation booked in for 20 August

Bit stressed that I now have to wait such a long time esp as rest of chain hoping for Sept completion. I have instructed solicitor to put in searches so hopefully they will all come in together!!

  • Focus on all the plans you have for your new home while waiting @Purplepenguin70 - NatWest appear to be super quick for most when the valuation is received. Plus, putting in for your searches at the same time means things can happen in parallel and reduce the amount of time you are waiting x

    Hey..
I applied last week through a broker for Natwest.
    Newbuild 25% deposit.
I've 65k deposit from sale of house but they want proof where the remaining of the funds are from. 17k..

We are living with Inlaws so this will be saved month on month with salary.
I've also advised of shares which hold that value however I don't want to cash these out yet so can't provide a statement.

Has anyone had this or had any issues where they don't have the cash readily available to prove?
    I'm buying in January.
    Thanks

We had to provide proof of a loan being settled but would have taken 2 weeks for the statement to be received. NatWest accepted a screenshot of the account and the payment reference number. Maybe you could screenshot your shares account a d whatever information shows the shares value?
