4th August - application submitted
Does anyone know whether NatWest do desktop valuations for low LTV cases? (We're at 40% LTV)0 -
Hi,
Reading this thread, seems like there isn't much of an issue with Natwest getting back to you in a reasonable timescale. I'm wondering if our broker has been a bit slow or dropped the ball somewhere.
We had an offer accepted on a property in June and our broker finally informed us that our Natwest mortgage application had been declined today due to an adverse credit issue.
Hard search was on the 3rd July. Trying to work out why it took over a month to inform me that our application was declined.

Fingerscrossed1989 said:Hi,
FTB, AIP in place and we submitted our full application to NatWest through a broker on Monday 28th June. Further documents requested (bank statements and payslips before maternity leave) all sent on 29th June. Advised our valuation is booked for 26th July, this seems like a very long way off? Is anyone else being held up due to valuation date?Does this mean everything else is ok?!We have some adverse credit but all settled as of March 2019. Very anxious to hear some positive news.
any reassurance much appreciated! 😰1 -

To be fair, had a mortgage with them for 7 years and they have been excellent. Got agreement in principle to port the mortgage within 24 hours and it took 2 days to get full mortgage offer once homebuyers report / valuation done.0

I wonder if anyone can help, I'm really panicking as I'm a first time buyer and so worried the mortgage will be declined. I wonder do Natwest do the hard searches before they valuation? I have received a message to say the valuation is booked for 11th August and I logged into Experian today and noticed that that credit score has gone done over 50 points but it doesn't say why (only doft searches showing so the 50 points don't make any sense)?
Can anyone help?0
