Here, I got below update from NatWest tracker.
Is it standard message? Is that what you guys saw on same day before actual offer? @WorriedKirkels

Hi, yes, very similar - we just didn’t get the link shown on yours. I think I then logged in every few minutes until the status updated (felt like a lifetime waiting but in reality was less than 24 hours!) What does the link say about waiting times for them to review? I knew we had the mortgage before the MA updated us or digidocs / email was sent to us as I was constantly checking. Hope that helps and good luck it comes back at the value you have offered 🤞 x
    Good to know. Thank you.

That link is generic URL for every single stage. Nothing specific.

Little tensed about valuation though after bad experience with HSBC. Hopefully since it was physical valuation hoping for the best result.

NatWest Intermediaries site is currently showing 2 days for processing new information so hopefully you won’t have long to wait x

I remember that feeling @jord411 - try and focus on other things like getting you solicitor sorting searches, researching all the things you need to sort or having a clear out - really helped me take my mind off waiting x

Is it good idea to start searches before mortgage? I didn't start due to hsbc issue... And wanted to get confirmation on mortgage before I pay lot to solicitors.
  • @vi009na every time we’ve purchased a house we start everything right at the beginning otherwise it adds weeks to the process but everyone is different. It can be risky but if you want to move quickly and not be waiting months I find it helps x

Right. It seems on track for me so far... Since searches in my council returns within 3 weeks max. 😊
If I get mortgage I can proceed else long process of renegotiation 😫
  • @vi009na - sending positive thoughts for good news! hopefully you will have an update tomorrow x

Downside is if the transaction doesn't proceed you will have wasted money.  Look at the bigger picture. How long is the chain?  If the vendor hasn't progressed an onward purchase yet. Then you've gained nothing but self satisfaction. A chain will only complete at the speed of the slowest party. People all have different agendas. I've known the pushiest of individuals at the outset to go AWOL when it suited them later on.

    Hi @WorriedKirkels
I can see status as below now. It says no action left from my end as well on top. Still I cannot see offer. Does that mean issue with valuation or need to wait further for status change? Thanks
