AIP - 26/06
Full application submitted via a broker - 26/06
Hard credit search showing
Valuation booked in for 02/07
After trying to go with Santander since April really hoping switch to Natwest gives us good news!
Is it OK to ask broker for mortgage application number to track online? Feel like I've non stopped bothering him!!
Our valuation has been postponed until 08/07 as our surveyor has to self isolate!0 -

We applied for our mortgage yesterday (29/06), this morning when I logged into tracker it showed that evidence had been received (11 different entries) and would be reviewed. When I looked just now all of these entries were ticked and it said valuation had been instructed. Does this mean the mortgage is approved subject to valuation?
I am panicking as whilst I am employed and have a really good salary, my husband is self employed and I’m aware the banks are really scrutinising their applications. Whilst he had an increase in turnover and profit last year and was lucky that he didn’t have to access furlough, I’ve made the silly mistake of reading the horror stories of people being turned down.Hoping someone can help alleviate my concerns.

Hi,
FTB, AIP in place and we submitted our full application to NatWest through a broker on Monday 28th June. Further documents requested (bank statements and payslips before maternity leave) all sent on 29th June. Advised our valuation is booked for 26th July, this seems like a very long way off? Is anyone else being held up due to valuation date?Does this mean everything else is ok?!We have some adverse credit but all settled as of March 2019. Very anxious to hear some positive news.
any reassurance much appreciated! 😰0 -

any reassurance much appreciated! 😰Can I ask what deposit you are putting down? We have 10% and really hope they don’t ask for higher! 😰0 -
@Fingerscrossed1989, we’ve got £90k / 20% deposit but my husband is self employed and the banks are being very cautious so finding it extremely stressful 😢0
