Morning Peeps,
only the other day I uploaded my Nationwide app and to find out they now support moving small change and impulse savings. Brilliant prompt. I can carry on in this account too.
So this morning I have uploaded DH with his account onto his phone and am about to show him this. He's never done anything like this in the time we have been together and married. He is about to embark on a massive learning curvewish me luck

Well done, 2Scratters, and good luck
My DH is a total technophobe who doesn't even have a mobile phone or use a computer of any kind. Apps and the like are a strange alien world to him. He is, though, a saver rather than a spender even verging on miserliness! Unlike me who has had money troubles my whole life. DH likes the old-school methods like paper statements arriving by post, visiting his bank branches and sorting things out over the counter with 'real' people. He might even make the occasional phone call on the landline. He's now gone so far as using cashless payments for most of his small everyday spends so his habit of little piles of loose change left all over the house seems to be a thing of the past
. He was totally flummoxed last week when trying to park in a carpark that only accepted digital payments

Well teaching an old dog new tricks went ok. He didn't wobble his head much and he sat a stared at it for a bit and I made him move some change. (Think he was too busy looking at the savings that are already in there
)
Fidelia how do you get those moving emoji characters.
Today I have checked the account I am using for my Tilly pennies. It has run backwards but in my defence not sure when I joined this thread.
So I will log 190.72 balance 27/01/21
Todays is 92.78
Obviously money has been used during the year but that is why we do this. Right? From now and the end of the year there will be no deductions just to see where I end up.
Have a good weekend peeps.

Hello! Late check-in for August, one of the worst months yet at £15.11.
Hope September's good for us all...
We have a house SSC! Though the battle to get a mortgage while on mat leave is painful...less than a month until we should be out our current rental and I'm not feeling optimistic!!Pushing the pennies around to try and make pounds...

@Fidelia thanks for the update and effort in trying to see how these emojis can be shared. I remember years ago these were the norm on MSE. I do miss them.
I dipped into my nwide app and moved some more pennies, well the less I have I can't spend it and I very rarely go into the OD on this account (twice briefly this year!!).
I will do the add ups later in the month.
Nice to see all moving forward
