Morning,
Same here denise - a bit cloudy but dry. Can't believe how much nicer the garden looks after our efforts yesterday. I was a jobbing gardener for 7 years in my 40s and always kept ours nice too. Since going back to office work, I just don't have the time/inclination. Going to try to keep up the maintenance a bit better this year.
Food today:
B - LM rosemary and red onion sausages, leftover potatoes, peppers from last night, fried up with an egg
L - toasted pitta(!) with ham and cheese - HEXA1/B
D - roast pork, sw roast potatoes, sprouts, broccoli, carrots
Snacks - apple, grapes, satsumas
HEXA2 - milk for tea/coffee
Syns - ketchup 1, apple sauce 1, small glass of white wine 5 - total of 7 for today
Have a good day everyone

Morning everyone
Overcast and breezy here today but I'll still go for my walk after lunch. Other than that it'll be a quiet day for me.
Food today
B: 2 x benefit bars, yoghurt & fruit
L: Ham, mushroom and cheese omelette with baked beans
T: Beefy mince (what you all seem to call savoury mince) - it's from the freezer, made before SW so I'll have to guess syns- with a jacket potato & veg1 -
I can't imagine the beefy mince would have many syns Frankie All I can think of is that perhaps it wasn't the 5% fat meat or you thickened it with flour.
After drooling over it in the week, I'm having prawn cocktail for lunch but as I have some potatoes to use up I'll make a bit more of a substantial salad from it.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- Prawn salad (P,S,F)
D- HB braised steaks (P,S), SW roast potatoes (F), carrots, swede, red and green cabbage, cauli, broccoli (S)
Syns- LF mayo 2, weekend wine😊1 -

That looks lovely maman. What spice did you sprinkle on it? I'm never sure what goes well with prawns and they can be a bit bland sometimes.
DH has cut the grass this afternoon as it's getting so long - can't remember the last time we had to cut it in February - earliest is usually mid to late March. Wanted to get it done as our garden waste bin is due to be collected tomorrow. Also done some weeding, mainly along the edge of the bungalow. Can't believe how many weeds and grass grows along the edge between the bungalow and the path. Still more weeding to do but it's cooling down now so come back indoors.
Will need to think about dinner shortly! At least get the meat out of the fridge and get potatoes and veg prepped ready to cook anyway!

I used paprika denise. I think, traditionally, it's meant to be cayenne pepper but at least it was the right colour. 😊2
