If you like Golden vegetable rice Frankie , try the dried one from Aldi. It takes about 15 minutes in the microwave IIRC. It's syn free. I batch cook my own pilau and  brown rice and freeze it in portions. That's syn free too. I suppose it depends what you want to use your syns for. 🤔
I do have a packet of that golden vegetable rice in the cupboard too.
Some of it is about using up what I have but the fact the syns are much lower than I expected means that I could have them tucked away in the cupboard for those cba kinda days and the mexican rice is quite nice with chicken and salad in the summer for something different.

At the moment I'm not drinking alcohol and don't want to use my syns for snacky type food and I don't really eat desserts, maybe just on a Sunday, so it's a little tricky to know what to spend my syns on!

Frankie the syns for curry sauce vary quite a lot so depends what type it was and what make.  They range from 4 to 7.5 per 100g so difficult to advise how many syns.

Glad you got away with slicing off the burnt bits of fish finger bubbs.  Are you like me and don't eat them?

Ended up with some crisp breads and HM hummus & cucumber for lunch.

If you like milky coffee you could always syn some extra for that Frankie. Or you could go mad and get a take away from Costa or Starbucks! 😁

Those mini meat loaves would make nice picnic food too denise.  I think it's a case of what the eye doesn't see bubbs. Glad you got away with it! 😉

I found a bottle of skinny syrup in the cupboard. I thought I had some somewhere. I think I might use it up (Skinny Food Company - caramel) and then not bother. I've  enjoyed my porridge without syrup and i like the sharpness of the frozen raspberries even more than fresh.

I've got savoury mince in the SC as  used the last portion for the cottage pie this week.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries (S)
    L- Spanish omelette (P,F,S), ham (P), beetroot, cornichons (S)
D- chicken stir fry (P,S) with noodles and chips (F)
Syns- honey 2.5, chilli sauce 1, weekend wine😊

    Hi everyone,
Busy day today. Took advantage of the lovely morning and went for a 3km run. Did A!di shop and then DH and I spent a few hours in the garden, cutting back and generally tidying up. Crocuses are now in flower - hurrah! Have just had a lovely bath with lavender bath salts - fab  <3
    Food today:
B - Apple, puffed wheat, skimmed milk HEXB/A
    L - 3 egg mushroom omelette, 1 tbsp brown sauce 1 syn
D - raclette night(!) I will have lean steak, sliced tinned potatoes, peppers, mushrooms and pickles. Will avoid the cheese and par-baked bread.
    HEXA - milk for tea/coffee
Snacks - satsumas, 2 caramel biscuits 4 syns.
Total syns - 5 plus a possible cheeky rum n Pepsi max (2.5) so 7.5
    have a good evening everyone.

Coxy no need to avoid the cheese, just use your 2nd HEA for it!

We spent a bit of time in the garden this afternoon just sitting in the sun.  The wind was a bit chilly but it was nice just to get some fresh air without going for a walk in the freezing cold.
