I think it was because they rang me Tuesday to see if i could go weds and that's where it has all got confused. No i am not expecting any results, just waiting for an appointment to have injections in my foot, he already told me would be 2-3 months that's why i was confused when i got this appointment on my phone Monday, well it wasn't an appointment it was a reminder for an appointment i didn't know i had 😂

    Morning everyone,
Well done on the losses. My weigh day is Friday morning so got everything crossed for then hahaha!
bubbs - loving the photos of your meals, especially the fancy dippy eggs with asparagus  B)
I remembered I had some tinned potatoes in the cupboard, so used some for breakfast. Meals today:
B - microwave poached egg, grilled lean bacon, mushroom, cherry tomatoes, tinned potatoes fried in fry light
L - Jacket potato (1) with baked beans and HEXA1 cheese, salad leaves
D - tuna pasta bake - will use reduced fat soft cheese x 150g (needs using up as already open). Believe it's 12 syns split 5 ways, so 2.5 syns for me.
Snacks - apple, sherbet sweets (1)
    Syns - 4.5
    HEXA2 - milk
Bit carby today and haven't planned in a HEXB, but have discovered some walnut halves in the pantry drawer - 5 for HEXB - wow that's a bit stingy but needs must lol!
    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

    Morning :)

I love the look of your minced beef and veg @bubbs. Could you post the recipe when you get a chance?

I've decided that I'm going back to writing everything down, so I have a notebook ready and that should help make sure that I'm doing things right.

Also decided that in regards breakfast, I'll just make sure I always have eggs handy so I can boil or scramble if I need to eat something.

    Today's food: EE
L: Veggie soup & Chicken & sweetcorn quesadilla (HEA for cheese), (9 syns for wrap)
    T: Chill, rice & salad

    HEA: 250ml semi skimmed milk
HEB: I think I have some alpen cereal bars that I can use.

Would someone mind seeing if any of the cereal bars in Aldi can count as a HEB?

Well done on your losses liz and sary. 😁

It does take time to get used to the plan liz, especially as you don't have any books etc. Did you change yesterday's menu or is your lunch the LO filling/sides from your dinner?  Home made food is always harder to syn than bog standard packets and tins.  I looked up a siracha online yesterday (curious as I'd never heard of it) and it came to 6.5 syns per tbsp.
Thai Dragon Sriracha Hot Chilli Sauce 455Ml - Tesco Groceries
It's only an estimate but it just shows how syns an creep in.

Frankie, I make my savoury mince much like bubbs  (minus the baked beans) but I add  diced carrots too and I always use 5 Oxo cubes (only thing I use Oxo for). I add a squirt of tomato puree and put it in the SC. I don't bother with the dry frying just put everything in together.  It's really useful batch cooked as it's good on its own or made into a cottage pie.

Good plan to do something positive for Lent ruby. I like the exercise idea but you don't really eat junk/processed food??  🤔

I need to check but I think I'll have 8 syns left after today. I won't use hem but they can  help offset any extra I had for Valentine's meal.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- ham (P), some sort of hash (S,F?), egg (P)
D- baked haddock (P), potato dish tbc (F), cauli steaks, tomatoes, mushrooms, green stuff (Aldi asparagus😉, mange tout and broccoli) (S)
    Syns- 0

This is the recipe I use Frankie. I got it from topgirl, who used to post on here. I don't add potatoes in case I want a SP day and peas lose their colour so are best added afterwards if you want any (only free though, not Speed). The potatoes do help to thicken but I'm happy with the consistency. I just throw everything in the SC. I think it's better not eaten on the day as the taste deepens with marinating.. HTH and photo is OK. 😊
