( Which meant staying in bed to keep warm and eating snacks and takeaways cause I couldn't face being out of bed for longer than I needed to be. It was miserable! I was miserable! I'm glad it's over!
🤣 You just had to do whatever it takes Frankie. Glad  the heating's fixed now though and you can draw that line and start afresh. Batch cooking is great for CBA days or when you're in a hurry.

I can only find a siracha mayo online liz and that's 4.5 syns per tbsp. 🤔 If you have it regularly then we could work out the syns for you from the food values on the label. What brand is it?  I know nothing about dosa but if you have to grind the rice or lentils then it will definitely be synful. Just soaking shouldn't be a problem though. It's trial and error really and depends how frequently you eat that sort of recipe whether it will affect your weightloss long term.

Sorry to hear you're suffering ruby. Hope it passes as the day goes on and taking it easy does the trick.  😊

I read about a guy who'd set up a business smoking salmon in his garden  during lockdown denise. That's a thought??🤔😉

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
    L- ham (P), veg and pickles (S)
    D- cottage pie (P,F,S) , greens and cauliflower (S), HEA2 cheese topping
    Syns- HP sauce 1

It's an interesting thought maman but don't think DH wants to be working again, LOL!  He's been retired for a few years now and certainly not looking to work again!  I think it's one thing smoking food for self consumption but another smoking it for other people!  I would have thought you'd need to get health and hygiene certificates and can't see that being easy at the moment!

Does anyone know if that 'chinese' chicken curry where you blitz baked beans is still doing the rounds and free?

I've done some batch cooking today, including quesadillas. Given that i won't be using my syns for snacky foods or wine (at the moment) I'm happy to take the 9 syn hit for the wraps, though I'll look for a brand that are HEB's eventually.

Think my mum may have made that version of the chinese curry Frankie, but must admit I haven't see the recipe for it.  I like the Slimming Eats one - completely synfree and makes loads.  Uses butternut squash and courgette for the base with some curry powder basically.

Feeling a lot better this afternoon - hands seem to have eased a little and lots of herbal tea is easing my chest 👍

Frankie do you mean the mushy pea curry?  If so here's a link to the recipe:  https://pinchofnom.com/recipes/mushy-pea-curry/
That's the only one I know that uses beans whizzed up with other things; and yes it's Free.  I like the Slimming Eats one as well.

The only wraps as far as I am aware that can be used as HEB is the Weight Watcher's ones but they're quite small.

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better this afternoon ruby and that your hands have eased a bit.

I idn't think your DH would want to set up a business denise. 😉 You're right though that you do need to register and get a  handling qualification but I believe that you can do it online at the moment because of the backlog caused by the pandemic.

I prepped the cottage pie using savoury m from the freezer. That's the last portion so must make more. I just did a potato topping with a couple of carrots. I thought of using swede & carrot mash but I don't really think SP helps that much.

Well done on the batch cooking Frankie. You have to use syns on something so why not wraps if you have them. 🤔
