Welcome FrankieM.  I still do Green days occasionally but usually do EE as it's easier as DH is very much a carnivore!  Not keen on red days as when I have done them in the past it's usually really an EE day as one of my HEBs will be a jacket potato!

It sounds as though you know what you need to do but if you need any help with syn values etc feel free to ask as there have been lots of changes over the years!

Good luck with losing however much you want to.

    Thanks for the welcome :)

I imagine my non green days will probably end up being EE days too @joedenise

Are there any Slimming World recipes etc on the site anywhere?

Frankie at the beginning of the Grocery Challenge in the Old Style Forum there are a few Slimming World recipes but they are quite a way down - it's about page 7 I think!

There are also links in some of the old Slimming World threads - I'll see if I can find one of the old threads with them in!

If there are any specific recipes you're interested in just ask, I'm sure someone will be able to point you in the right direction.  I use the SlimmingEats; Pinch of Nom and Two Chubby Cubs (but there's a lot of chat in it, some of it a bit near the knuckle! which I don't bother reading) websites.

    Evening all,
    Welcome Frankie

Bubbs what a transformation!  So inspirational to see your pics, thanks for sharing.

Well I've had my new job contract, and agreed it, my references have been requested, and I'm part-way through the induction paperwork online.  They don't hang about!  I told the remainder of my colleagues, who are all a bit stunned, but don't blame me.  I have relished re-telling the story of watching the colour drain from the boss' face as I said I was handing my notice in.  I've waited a year to do this (remember the fiasco about him reprimanding us when we tried to use hand gel at work because of covid, and he said we were hysterical last March?).

Plan today was not perfect, but it's been a funny day with unexpected interruptions.  An ex colleague rang me during my lunchbreak to talk about my resignation, and then I bumped into another ex colleague as I walked to my car after work, so both lunch and dinner had to be rearranged on the hop.  Well over syns, and not ideal, but it's just a day out of the week, and a week out of the month, etc.
B - porridge HEB water, skinny syrup and dessert spoon of elmlea stirred through it (2)
L -  slice of toast with jam (12)
    Snack - 0% strawberry yogurt (1)
D - bacon, eggs, tomatoes, beans, slice of toast (6.5)
I forgot I'd had the toast at lunchtime when I had dinner, but I was late home, so hurried making it all.  Nevermind, it's not the end of the world.  I had got lean steak mince out to have burgers, so we will have that tomorrow night instead.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Sary - are you sure about the syns for the toast and jam?  It sounds really high!  jam is only 0.5 syn per tsp!  What bread are you using that is 6.5 syns?  Even a thick slice of white bread is only 5.5!

If she had 2 slices it would have been 13 (assuming it was the same as she had in the evening!) just for the bread!  Sary said "slice of toast" which to me means one.
