Morning all! Those really are really good deals sary, it's been a long time since I've managed to snag anything as good at the supermarkets; lucky if they have everything I want these days!
It's "snowing" here this morning - just very little flakes which are settling in some places but nothing to worry about really, and it's not like I'm planning on leaving the house anytime soon. Breakfast this morning was yogurt, strawberries, blueberries and mini weetabix again as I really enjoyed it yesterday and it kept me really full. Having another falafel bowl for lunch and then dinner will be mushroom risotto. Think there's going to be lots of cups of tea consumed as well today because it's so cold!

Morning all. Running late this morning as didn't even wake up until 8.15 and then didn't get up straight away! After all what's the point - doing absolutely nothing again today! No plans to leave the bungalow at all, not even to go out to the bins. We had more snow overnight although like ruby very small flakes but it has settled on top of yesterday's fall.
Didn't have the Ryvita and hummus last night but did have a few drinks so used more syns than planned!
Today's plan:
B - baked oats; mixed fruit - HEB; P; S
L - hash brown pizza - not sure what toppings yet will need to check fridge to see what's in there to go on top; have got a tomato sauce in freezer - F; S; P?
D - LO roast beef; chips; beans; mushrooms - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge oats
Syns - none planned - let's see if it stays that way!
Keep safe, especially if you have to go out in the ice and snow.

Welcome lizbob. That sounds a good food day. Don't know if you've done SW before but just in case you haven't a few pointers:
The only syns would be the corn tortillas which would be about 6 syns each depending on brand as they vary which is within your allowance of 15 a day.
You can have 2 HEAs a day - skimmed milk is 350mls; there are various cheeses you could have as well such as 30g of cheddar or 40g of low fat cheddar.
You can also have one HEB each day as well which is foods for fibre - bread, oats, nuts etc
Did you use 5% fat mince for your shepherds pie? If so it would be a Free food but if not there would e syns for it.
If you need any help with syn values etc feel free to pop back and ask, there is usually someone around who can help.
Good luck with your weight loss journey.

lizbob - Yes all flour needs to be synned. Cornflour is 4.5 syns per 25g so you will need to work out how much you used to make each of them. Ready made tortillas (40g) are 6 or 6.5 depending on brand.
Glad you've got your appointment bubbs even if it does interfere with your tea🤣.

Morning all,
We had lots more snow last night and this morning, and it's still snowing! We've not had this much for a few years. Driving was treacherous... once OH had managed to get my car off the driveway. Not all heroes wear capes y'know
Welcome lizbob you seem to have a great plan for today.
Good new bubbs getting your appointment.
I was well chuffed with my bargains in the s/market. Seems we chose a good time to go in there. Saturday evenings seem to be very quiet in that particular s/mkt so may make it a more regular trip to just have a check.
Plan today:
B - porrige HEB, made with water & splash of milk from HEA1, skinny syrup
L - HM tomato soup; 0% fat nat yogurt/sf jelly (0.5)/peach slices (1.5)
D - LF sausages (6), mash & mixed veggies or beans, gravy (2)
I may have an interview later today if the admin lady where I've applied can squeeze me in. I'm not overly optimistic, despite having an 'in' at the place where I've applied, because I know there's someone in-house who has applied, and also someone has applied from an identical role at a local competitor, who is after a full-time position. I am hampered also by having to give such a lengthy amount of notice (2 months!). Anyway, going to give it my best shot and see what happens. You've gotta be in it to win it!
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
