FrankieM I sometimes have Green days but generally do EE.  I got to target doing EE but now when I have veggie days I tend to do Green so can have the extra HEB if I want it.  Never do Red days I like my carbs too much.  If you want to Red and Green Days then as long as you've still got the old syn values and you know they work for you then there's no reason why you shouldn't do them, although some syn values have definitely changed over time but of course Red and Green values haven't been updated!

maman - thanks for the link I'll have a look at it later once I've disabled my ad blocker!
I'll have to ask my sister to have a look at her pack and send me the nutritional info so I can use the Estimator!

I do tend to have days where I know exactly what I want for each meal and then I'll have other days where I change my mind about 3 times before I start cooking.
That's fine. What matters is that you have all the SW ingredients in so whatever you decide will be on plan. 😊

Glad that the steak went down well klew. I haven't grilled/fried a steak in ages. I tend to have the Hairy Biker's steaks because I know they're always going to turn out well.

Are you still in touch with your consultant bubbs? Would she take a look at your food diary just in case she can suggest anything? 🤔 I think you should definitely ring up about your leg. It's not just the lack of exercise (definitely not essential for SW) but it could really affect your mobility longer term.

I can still get about but sometimes it's a hobble, how long have i been saying about my leg? On here at least a couple of years 😣
Yes will give it a couple of weeks i know they are busy...my sister has a problem , she can't eat anything without getting heart burn and feels like food is getting stuck, the doctor said she needs a camera down her throat but they are only doing them for cancer patients at the moment, but a lady she cleans for is a retired anesthetist but still in the know and she said that's a load of tosh !

I suppose it's a problem that you don't want to let on you're out of target. 🤔You could always say that (like me), you haven't weighed at home and your clothes still fit but you'd like to check the diary just to keep on track . 🤔

We have 2 main hospitals locally. 1 is just Covid cases and the other is trying to do everything else. They're so busy with cancer cases, chemo etc that all the other more routine procedures are piling up so even if a GP refers you, unless they suspect cancer, then there are no appointments. ☹️

Oops.....my planned sw friendly tea from the freezer turned out to be fish and chips from the chippy. We’ve had a bit of a stressful day and dh really fancied a chippy tea......not had one for a long time. I only ate a little bit of batter to get the taste and a handful of chips. I really enjoyed it so in the grand scheme of things it’s not the end of the world. Sometimes you just have to go with it. 😏 So the syns were for a handful of chips and a bit of batter...it will be what it will be.......

It's my birthday next month and unless the restaurants open before then I'm already planning the chippy. 😋

I feel pretty much the same maman!  My birthday's next month too!  But I won't bother with the batter I just don't like it so it'll be the chips that will be my downfall, LOL!

Nope i don't 😂😂 and want to be back in it shrpish, but at this rate not going to be if last week is anything to go by 🙄 I understand that , but she had to do a stool sample and it came back clear, so the doctor on the phone said so that's it, she said h no t's not i need to get to the bottom of what is wrong with me! She asked what causes it, she said everything i eat and drink, i have tried eliminating things and makes no difference :(
This is the sister that also had an allergic reaction and was told to carry an epi pen but had not had the prescription, when asked about that was told it was at the chemist, was sent there end of Nov! she said well how was i supposed to know when no one has informed me 🙄

    Good morning all,

We have a lovely chip van that is open over the weekend, it is stationed not far from where I live, they have a pizza oven too.  The cars are right the way along the road on a Friday night queueing. It is very good but I haven’t visited since august!

Today I am on a half day and im going to have a pasta n sauce pot quickly when I head home then head out for a walk, was going to go to the beach but I think the road is flooded. Non stop rain here.

Tonight’s tea is all the left over salady bits and a tuna BP. Must start thinking about next week’s food plana and tomorrows shopping list.
