Hope you enjoy your fish finger sandwich ruby😁. I know denise wouldn't! 🤣 As you haven't used your HEB then it wouldn't be too synful. I checked and Bird's Eye are only 1.5 per fish finger. I'd expected them to be more.
Glad you're pleased with the home smoked fish denise. I'd much sooner eat that than meat. Obviously wasn't a true reading yesterday. No idea why though? 🤔
I haven't used any syns yet so 105 still intact, until tonight! 😁 I'll do my main food shop this afternoon so I'll be set up for the week. For years I've done one shop a week but since lockdown I have been popping out midweek for various bits. Since I gave up work I have shopped around a bit more but now I think I'm doing it because the supermarket is the most normal place I ever go to! 😁 I keep a list of everyday things I can get anytime in my usual Aldi and Sainsburys and then things I get elsewhere occasionally for like wine stock pots in Tesco etc.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), fried eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
L- JP (F) with cottage cheese (P) and pickles (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), carrots, creamy cabbage with HEA2, broccoli, mange tout, tomato, mushroom (S)
Syns- TGIF wine! 😋1 -
You're absolutely right maman! Absolutely hate fish fingers - it's one of the few things where DH and I have something different; I usually have Linda Mc Rosemary and Red Onion sausages when DH has fish fingers, in fact we're actually have them in sandwiches one lunch time in February!
I don't know if you have a Morries near you but they also do their own brand wine stockpots now so sometimes I get mine there as on the days when I go to Lidl I usually end up in Morries to get what I can't in Lidl!
Took me a while to work out what TGIF was! Always used to call it POETS day when I was working!

I prefer that! Poet's wine! I'm sure Shakespeare would approve. 🤣1

Is that what it's going to in future, LOL?1 -

Almost time for my poets wine! 😁
I thought they were scotch eggs to begin with bubbs. Did you use LM sausages to line a muffin tin then crack the egg in? 🤔 That was a stroke of luck with the £10 note.
Thanks for the heads up on the stock cubes and pots. I generally use cubes other than the wine ones but I will take a look. I'm pleased that Morrison's give another option for the wine pots as they didn't have any red ones in Tesco and I was afraid they were being discontinued. We only have one Morrison's and it's on the other side of the city near the New Forest. It's close to one of my dancing classes so I'll get there one day! 😉2 -
Have to say maman Morries don't always have the wine stockpots unfortunately - it's pretty hit and miss but I've managed it a couple of times. I tend to start looking in Morries and Tescos when I'm down to half a box left in case it takes a bit of time to find them. I shall be very upset if either of them stock the wine ones because Knorr don't do them for some reason - I'm sure they'd be popular!
It's wine o'clock here too! That means I'll be over syns today but will just have to pull it back over the rest of the week!

I hadn't realised that the Slimwell meals had come out so low in syns since they went on the app. I'm going to try the BBQ chicken some time and we're having the chicken Tikka tomorrow.
I buy several boxes of the wine pots at a time when I'm getting tagliatelle and instant potato as I rarely go to Tesco.2
