Sorry denise i didn't put that very well. I just meant I always want more cheesy flavour. 🤔

It's hard to get syns spot on unless everything is branded. Cooking from scratch always has some guesswork despite measuring. I was thinking today that the portion of LO hash (probably about a sixth of the whole dish) had a few syns that should be carried over but I don't want to be obsessive. I agree that 1.5 syns over shouldn't see a gain. Even maintaining allows for extra syns. 🤔

    Afternoon all

Well done on all the losses.

Spent the night at my parents last night their new puppy has been whiney at night so mum and dad have been taking it in turns to sleep downstairs with him so I thought I'd let them both have a night in bed and I would sleep downstairs.

They provided my dinner in payment 😁 we had braising steak with veg and new potatoes all slimming world friendly as mum knows I'm really trying to stick to plan this time.

Today I've had weetabix for breakfast not having lunch as I need a nap. The dog wasn't too whiney, only when he wanted to toilet, but I found myself checking on him all the time making sure he was ok. Its a good job I've never had kids if a puppy can keep me awake all night I'd have been a permanent insomniac as a mother 😂.

Dinner tonight is going to be salmon with a baked sweet potato, salad and grilled mushrooms.
    :AWhatever it is - I didn't do it!:A

I think not enough is the answer bubbs. I always have my big glass of NAS (300ml) every morning but then it's just loads of strong tea. My hygienist noticed last week that my teeth were stained because of it. I've started switching to hot lemon water in the evenings but definitely could do better. 😉

How do you make the crispy kale? 🤔

Hardly ever drink squash or water but so far today I've had 10 mugs of decaf tea and will have another couple before I go to bed; 3 small cups of black decaf coffee and a can of ginger beer!  Writing it down it sounds terrible, doesn't it?

I've only done the crispy kale a couple of times and both times I managed to burn it!  It definitely turns very quickly but it still tastes OK!

Definitely couldn't drink water during the night bubbs - I already have to get up in the night to go to the loo!  Also don't drink any cola type drinks, I don't even like the smell of it!

Morning all!  I definitely don't drink enough water bubbs - I have a 500ml bottle that I keep filling up throughout the day but if you add in the tea and coffee that I also drink, I think they cancel out the hydration

Been told to take it easy today before jumping back into work fully on Monday so I'm planning a pyjamas day while I catch up on work admin and plan out what I need to do next week.  Already had one coffee today but might have to go and make another one soon.  Had an apple and satsuma for breakfast and lunch will be some leftover chickpea curry from the other night.  Dinner tonight is fishfinger sandwiches as requested by DH, with some wedges on the side.

Hope you all have a good day!

So I weighed again this morning but it was still a gain just not as bad as yesterday!  A gain of 0.5lb which takes me to bang on top end of target - not brilliant but a bit better.

Didn't have a Syn Free day in the end yesterday as DH poured me a brandy at the end of the evening and I had that while I was chatting to a friend on the phone.  Problem was it was a large brandy so 8 syns but at least not too many.

Another dry, bright and a bit windy day today so have put another machine load of washing on as the forecast for the weekend is awful.  Looks like we've got rain/sleet/snow possibly all day tomorrow.

    Today's plan:

    B - kedgeree (using DH's home smoked haddock - which was a much nicer flavour than anything we've ever bought!) - P; S; F
    L - home smoked salmon, prawns & salad - P; S
    D - KFC, corn on the cob, chips, beans - P; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - none planned

Syns - no idea at the moment but maybe a couple of rum & ginger beer but will see what, if anything, I fancy

Have a good day and keep safe everyone!
