I stopped to listen to the PM's press conference. ☹
Well done on your meal plan milann. You can move the meals around as much as you want but it means you have in all the SW friendly ingredients you need and unlikely to waste anything. It's both mse and healthy. 😊
I'm not sure whether I have Aldi or BGTY sausages tonight but there's only 1 syn difference so I'm no going to lose sleep. There'll be more veg LO after tonight's meal (I make extra deliberately) but with mash so I can make proper bubble & squeak. 😋
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, scrambled eggs (P)
L- ham (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- sausages, mash, LO gravy from HB steaks(F), fried onion, cabbage mix, cauli, broccoli, carrots (S)
Syns- HP sauce 1, sausages 1?1 -
Well done jax on another loss; 3 weeks running is good.
Good to see you've meal planned milann - as you say you can move the days around. Even though I do a month at a time it doesn't mean the days are set in stone, although with no eating out etc we're tending to stick to it most of the time, although there are times like this week where I've ended up with more chicken than expected so now instead of a couple of meals from it there's enough chicken left for another meal so I'm going to make some kind of sauce to cover it and freeze it for another time. Not sure what sauce but possibly a BBQ one or maybe a white one. Will sort that out tomorrow!
Still haven't totted up how many syns I've had this week. Really must do that so I know how many I've got left for tomorrow - last day before WI but think I've probably got a few left and no syns needed for meals.

I think I've probably got about 5 syns left! 🤣 I'm planning on corned beef hash for tomorrow but it's only a small tin so I'll get there just about. 😉0

That's cutting it fine maman! I've got more left than I thought so have made a change to dinner tonight; was going to be using pork fillet which is of course Free but now we're having pork belly slice as a roast so a massive 10 syns but it will be so worth it - and I've still got about 20 syns left! Think I need to go back and check as that doesn't seem right when I've had 2 days over syns, although I've had a few days with only a couple of syns so suppose it's possible!
It's very grey and cloudy this morning but have decided to put a machine load of washing on anyway as the washing basket was getting full and it's forecast to rain tomorrow! If the ground starts drying I'll hang it on the line if not then it'll have to go on the airer to dry but at least it will be done.
I've done February's plan but DH has now suggested a few meals which I haven't included so I'm going to redo it to include some of the them (but not all - there definitely won't be a bacon roly-poly!). He's asked for the sloppy joes from this month's magazine which I didn't think he'd like - to me it looks like it'll be quite messy on the plate so not particularly appetising but who knows! I'll give it a go.
Today's plan:
B - breakfast hash with eggs - fried up potatoes & veg with eggs on top - P; S; F
L - vegetable soup
D - roast pork dinner with belly slice - P; S; F; 10
S - Ryvita/Primula Light - HEB/HEA2
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - Primula light
HEB - Ryvita
Syns - pork belly 10
Have a good day and keep safe.

Afternoon all! Well done on the loss jax. I also do a rough meal plan milann where I plan the meals but not necessarily what night we're going to have them. Then I leave it up to DH to decide which sometimes works out and sometimes doesn't!
Woke up to a visit from mother nature this morning so no wonder I've been so lethargic and emotional last weekHaving a call with my manager this evening to work out a plan to get me back to them next week because he's worried about me and my stress levels. Makes such a difference to have a supportive manager, I'd completely forgotten what it was like! Had a couple of satsumas and a latte for breakfast, lunch was a cheese and tomato sandwich and another satsuma and dinner tonight is going to be a chickpea curry.

The day started well then we had a bit of a disaster. Dh tried to drop the radiator in the bedroom where the decorator is papering. I was downstairs luckily and water came gushing through the light in the ceiling of the new kitchen. I panicked imagining my new units wrecked - plumber called out and all sorted now....but a tad stressful at the time.... thankfully he only charged us £30.
Comfort eating Christmas cake 😡😡 no icing or marzipan 10 syns?
breakfast - poached egg on toast, satsuma
dinner - bread with Philadelphia and cucumber. 8 syns.....I’d planned ham salad but went to bread on auto pilot 😳tea - chicken, leek and cauliflower pasta bake hea cheese sauce 1 syn for cornflourJanuary spends - £587.581 -
Afternoon all,
Mixed things up a bit today and had a bowl of chilli for lunch and tonight im having tuna salady bits and a baked potato.
Had a docs appointment over the phone after bloods on Monday (referred from optician) and my irons levels are pretty low which does explain a few things so starting tablets and having bloods done again next week. Spinach and steak on this weeks shopping list!
If im feeling productive I might make tomorrows curry tonight as I always think it tastes better the next day?

Klew it surprising what the optician can detect. Hope the meds help.
I was on a self destruct path as I’d not eaten properly at dinner time.......so change of plan. I had last nights left over sweet and sour pork and rice. 2 syns at 4 o’clock. So today
breakfast - poached eggs on heb toast
comfort eating - Christmas cake 10 syns 😱😡
Dinner - bread and Philadelphia light 8 syns 😡
Tea. Sweet and sour pork and rice 2 syns
snacks - satsuma, pear
it is what it is....stressful day which led to putting the first thing I laid my hands on in my mouth.....rescued myself by eating an early tea 😄😄 I could have so easily carried on the self destruct route 😀😀 Feeling proud I didn’t 😀😀January spends - £587.582 -
You did well to get away with £30 milann, it could have been so much worse. Well done for just a minor blip. 😊
It's so typical of SW recipes to be too sloppy. They always seem to suggest too much liquid. I'm always adapting recipes but you don't expect to have to adapt SW's own! 🤣 Good idea to have the jacket potato with the salad klew. Much more filling. 😊
Hope you can arrange your work to make you feel less stressed ruby.
I decided to give Asda another try this afternoon. I went to the city centre branch because I reasoned that it's mainly students and office workers doing a quick shop who go there so more likely to have Frylight. Result!! I now have plenty to see me through for a few months. I picked up some YS beef cubes at the same time so really pleased. I parked outside Wilkos so popped in there too. I bought some courgette seeds as I plan to grow some this year. I think it was you couldn't get any last year denise? 🤔 I thought you'd like to know that gardening stuff is coming into the shops. Retail Therapy is taking on a whole new meaning!!🤣
When I did the maths it was 7.5 syns I had left for today. I'll use 3.5 for the hash so I'm still OK. The lean corned beef is only 1.5 for 100g but I don't often see that in the shops. I've put the tin in the fridge and will shave off any visible fat.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
L- ham (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), pickled cabbage (S)
D- corned beef hash (P,F,S) with HEA2 cheese topping, cauli, broccoli, cabbages (S)
Syns- corned beef 3.5, horseradish 11
