  • Oh hell, just discovered that the cheese triangles I bought, and have been happily using, are not light. Wouldn't mind, but I used quite a few last week as I use them instead of butter. At least I know what the issue will be when I get on the scales, not happy :(

A smile costs little but creates much :)

Never mind klew. Keep at it and hope you get a loss next week. Being good always pays off in the end. 😊

You had a bad week with all the work stress ruby. Today's a new start. 😊

You do have to be careful gtq. I've got a mixture of Primula and Primula Light in the fridge for similar reasons. Fortunately I rarely use a full HEA of either.

😋 to the egg and chips bubbs. It's dull and grey here too denise, I think rain is expected later.

We're having cottage pie tonight. I was going to make it SP but the swede & carrot  doesn't look enough so I'll add some potato. It still helps to cut carbs back a bit though. Well, that's the theory. 😉

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk
L- cold meat (P), potato? (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
    D- cottage pie (P,S,F) with greens (S)
    Syns- 0

    Everyone’s menus sound delicious.
Yesterday I made a pan of stock by boiling the chicken bones - no skin and veg peelings so am making chicken and sweet corn soup from an old sw recipe book - it’s got a lot of eastern recipes in it and is just like you’d get in a Chinese restaurant. Followed by beef stir fry.
    So today
Breakfast - egg barm heb, a satsuma pear and banana
dinner - jacket with hea cheese and salad
tea - soup and stir fry
    0 syns so far
    January spends - £587.58

Hi bubbs I did post yesterday after we'd had dinner!  The yorkies were a success and rose great - so looks like the problem was the silicon rather than my recipe!!!  The skewers look good.

The stuffed peppers were a great success - I used a mix of basmati/wild rice and and some mixed frozen veg and half a can of mixed beans which I'd frozen a while back, cooked together for 15 minutes and then left for another 10 minutes to steam before stuffing the partly cooked peppers and topped with HEA of cheese (1/2 HEA on each 1/2 pepper).  There was extra rice/veg so kept that warm and also cooked some lettuce, spring onions & peas in white wine stock to serve with it.  Even DH was impressed which is brilliant as he usually moans about completely veggie dishes!  It's definitely something I'll make again.

The skewers were nice 😋 glad you enjoyed the stuffed peppers , dh was looking at recipes on MSN when he logged into his email, BNS & chickpea curry, he wouldn;t eat that, or i's be very surprised if he did 🤣

    Evening all
I've been MIA for a few days as I had loads of housework and work  things to do and so I banned myself from the internet for a few days (yes, that's right, I have to treat myself like a teenager to get things done :D )

Anyway I'm back now and I've been on plan all week so hoping for a good loss tomorrow when I get weighed.

I really need to try that KFC that you've all been talking about I bought all the ingredients for it a while ago, and I've always got chicken and eggs in the house. I might do it this Thursday or Friday.

Todays breakfast was 2 Weetabix and a bowl of mixed berries. Lunch was Alaskan pollock roasted veg and mushy peas (because you can't have fish without mushy peas!!) with a bit of soy sauce and tonight dinner is chicken cous cous and veg as I'm in work and its so easy to prepare beforehand.

    :AWhatever it is - I didn't do it!:A
