    Everyone’s menus sound delicious.
Yesterday I made a pan of stock by boiling the chicken bones - no skin and veg peelings so am making chicken and sweet corn soup from an old sw recipe book - it’s got a lot of eastern recipes in it and is just like you’d get in a Chinese restaurant. Followed by beef stir fry.
    So today
Breakfast - egg barm heb, a satsuma pear and banana
dinner - jacket with hea cheese and salad
tea - soup and stir fry
    0 syns so far
We’ll that was the plan...what actually happened was
Breakfast - heb barm, egg, satsuma and banana
Dinner - tuna salad with tuna, mixed salad leaves, hard boiled eggs, onion, tomato, green beans, and new potatoes (I’d forgotten I had cooked new potatoes to use up and quite fancied tuna when it came to dinner time)
Tea - chicken and sweet corn soup....we were too full for the stir fry
Snacks - 2 ginger biscuits 5 syns, skinny strawberry choc bar can’t remember if 3 or 4 syns - off to check, but well within my syns 👍
And that is why I never plan for the week. I’m far too spontaneous and suddenly fancy something. The thought of knowing what I’m eating for tea in a few days time fills me with dread 😊

Still a good day milann. That's what mattters. 😉 I plan a week ahead so that I only have to shop once and know I've got everything in. Breakfasts and lunches aren't planned in advance . I just make sure I have plenty of ingredients. I do write down the dinners but sometimes switch them around. I always include some freezer ready meals in case plans change but that usually means if we eat out and that's not happening at the moment. ☹️

    Evening,
Just popping my head round the door before bedtime.  I bought more Smash today for my KFC later this week too.

    Today's plan was like this:
B  - porridge HEB with milk from HEA1, water, skinny syrup
L -  last of my HM tomato soup with some slices of turkey
    snack - apple
D - picky tea, with turkey, ham, chicken skewers, lettuce, celery, tomato, cucumber, cheese HEA2, dressing (1), crackers (9)
Decided to use up syns on dinner as I'd been fully on plan the rest of the day.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Morning all.  Work stress is ongoing maman but managed to get through yesterday without turning to the chocolate or biscuits.  Did have a bit of a vent at my manager but he's so supportive that it made me feel a lot better about things.

Have to go on site today and realised that a lot of my "work" clothes are a little tight, even the larger ones I kept for cases like this 😲 just need to keep plodding on and the weight will eventually drop off.

Breakfast was porridge with raspberries, I'm taking some carrot and cucumber sticks, melon and a couple of satsumas for "lunch" as I don't know when or if I'm going to get a proper break today and then dinner tonight is the second portion of that mushroom pasta sauce I had last week with lots of cheese grated on top.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all, I took advantage of the milder night last night and stayed out longer than intended on my dog walk so I really couldn’t be bothered making the Bolognese I had planned. Ending up having a very random dinner of gammon steak, 2 new boiled potatoes, roasted celery peppers mushrooms, and peas. So tonight it is Bolognese but I need to nip to the shop for some salad leaves as I have run out, and a few carrots. Going to have the bolog, a handful of pasta and the rest salad.

Morning all, I'm the exact opposite milann as it would drive me nuts not knowing what to have for meals the next day, although things do get changed round even after the plan has been written, particularly if I manage to pick up something YS which needs using quickly because it won't freeze.  If I didn't have it all written down I'd end up having too many HEBs one day and none another day!  I lose track if I don't write things down.

Today I need to go to the shops as have run out of nearly all my salad stuff, only got spring onions left!  Also nearly out of fruit as well, so might as well other bits I need for meals until the weekend.

    Today's plan:

    B - stuffed mushrooms topped with cheese - HEA; S; F
    L - sausage & onion sandwich - HEB; S; 2
    D - LO roast beef, SW chips, beans, pickles - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - sausages 2

Well done on avoiding carp food yesterday ruby. 😊 Keep plodding away and those work clothes will soon feel looser. It's been so easy to slop about in leisure clothes at home in the past year that wearing 'proper' clothes can come as a bit of a shock. I've put a stretchy top on today and my stomach isn't as flat as I'd like so good motivation to keep at it. 😉

I never cook Bolognese on the day klew.  I always do a batch in the slow cooker and then it's my go to HM ready meal. I think it tastes better too, it seems to marinate even in the freezer.

My meal planning goes back long before SW or mse. When I was working silly hours it made so much more sense to do a plan, a list and one single shop each week. I've never worked anywhere that I could pop out for shopping in my lunch break. In fact, I've never worked anywhere I could guarantee a lunch break! 🤣

I went to Tesco today as my list of things I like from there was growing and it made for  a change of scene!! I stocked up on tagliatelle, wine stock cubes and instant potato. All own brand and very good. We now have broccoli too! 😁 Plenty of stock of fruit and veg although I didn't need anything else.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), fried eggs (P), tomato, mushrooms (S), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
L- LO cottage pie and veg (P,F,S)
D- HM burger (P), SW chips (F), carrot chips,  fried onions, broccoli and mange tout, garlic mushrooms with HEA2 (S)
    Syns- 0

    Afternoon all

All we can do is keep plodding 😁
I had 2 satsumas first thing then about 10.45 had a spring onion and mushroom omelette stuffed with mushrooms and babed beans with "fried" toms on the side, will put the picture up in a bit.
We were going to have sausage casserole but really didn't fancy it, so we have fish and parsley sauce  not often i have fish
