maman shortbread triangles are 3 syns each but DD1s partner makes them double the thickness of commercial ones so I count as 6 syns but will only have one! The strawberries are lovely - I had a few while we were at DD1s.
I keep quite a bit of frozen veg in the freezer, some of which is what I've cooked like red cabbage and also some raw veg like celeriac where I haven't used the whole thing when I buy it; I've currently got some cut into chips which I really must get round to using! I always keep bread in the freezer too as I like the Morrisons 800g wholemeal medium as HEB and don't go there every week so tend to buy at least 2 or 3 when I do go there.

It's been raining all night here and looks set for the rest of today - at least I won't need to water the garden! We've got a few raspberries ready but unfortunately not enough to have as a pudding so we'll just eat them as we pick them! Very nice they are too - so much nicer than those bought from the SM.
Today's plan is a green day:
B - scrambled eggs and spinach (from garden) on toast - HEB; P; S
L - cheese salad; pickles - HEA2; S; F
D - vegetable biryani - S; F
S - crispbreads and HM hummus
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB1 - bread
HEB2 - crispbreads (if want something this evening!)
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Hi all,
Not a football fan but flicked back and forward and watched the pens etc
Not a fishcake fan either, tbh the only fish, I eat is tuna and it has to be in mayo, salad cream or natural yoghurt!
Enjoy your holiday @bubbs , I think its your calorie intake that is the problem but a break is as good as a rest
Made a big lasagne on Saturday night it’s a particularly good one if I do say so myself. Had it on Saturday night with cheesy garlic bread (treat) and tonight im having it with chips and salad.
Saturday I walked 7.5 miles it was lovely but only time got a decent breeze was the section near the sea, it wasn’t especially sunny. Yesterday did a 4 mile walk with a friend in the morning, good catch up but so close! Cool shower once home.
Tonight im walking with another friend in another town so that will be nice, looked on the map and aiming for anther four,
STS this week but I can see why so onwards this week
B – crunchy nut ss milk
L – tuna pasta salad (cocktail onions, celery, cucumber, spring onion, pasta ((30g)) tuna, mayo and chives)
D – lasagne chips and salad
Freddo!

I watched the match. I felt really sad for the players missing penalties (and even moreso for the abuse since) but Italy were worthy winners in the whole of the game. ☹️
Out of interest klew, do you measure your calories against your exercise? I know it's possible as a friend used to walk to her mum's for Sunday lunch (while the rest of the family went by car) so she could have a pudding. 😁
I love lasagne and now I've discovered a fat free cheese sauce I can make it very low syn. 😋bubbs posted a few weeks back that Aldi has started selling lazy garlic. I opened a new jar yesterday and noticed that the drained weight is less from Aldi than my old one from Lidl. Same price but 150g in Lidl compared with 120g from Aldi. ☹️
Tipping down here now so definitely no washing. ☹️
Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), 2 fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- ham (P), fried vegetables and pickles (S), potato (F)
D- baked salmon (P), cubed potatoes (F), mushrooms, spicy cauliflower, tomatoes, TS broccoli (S)
Syns - 00 -
Not actually had any rain since this morning! Still looking very grey and it's also quite damp outside so wouldn't be surprised if it does start raining.
Have had to change my menu plan again as DH is playing golf tomorrow and Wednesday! Have already changed some for the weekend as we've decided to go away and we're also away the following weekend but I knew about that when I did the plan so no changes needed then! I wish I knew at the beginning of the month when he was going to be playing but unfortunately it doesn't work like that except if he's playing an away match! Think I might have to go back to weekly planning although sometimes he springs it on me like saying today that he's playing tomorrow; so annoying!
Have a good holiday bubbs and enjoy whatever you decide to eat and forget about the syns for a while.0
