Morning all.  Looks like it might have been better to have left washing the bedding until today but never mind, too late now.  We had rain on and off all day yesterday.  Forecast is to stay dry all day with some light showers about 8 this evening.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - sausages, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans - P; S; F; 2
    L - bacon & mushroom sandwich - HEB; P; S; 3.5
    D - braised steak, mash, veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; butter 5.5; couple of rum & ginger beer 5

    Have a good day everyone.

Not feeling too bad bubbs but my shoulder and upper arm are still quite painful.  Still hurts to use my hand if it needs any pressure - even had to get DH to cut up my sausages for breakfast this morning!

Have to change plan for lunch as DH used up all the mushrooms for breakfast so it will have to be a BLT instead!

We're going over to DD1s this afternoon as her partner has made some shortbread and she's got a load of strawberries from the garden for us; really looking forward to those!

What time are you off tomorrow bubbs?  How long you away for?

That's an early start bubbs. I got up then, went to the bathroom and then straight back to bed! 🤣

I don't see any shortbread listed in the syns denise! 🤔 Enjoy your strawberries. They're excellent at this time of the year, we had some yesterday.😋

I did my freezer inventory yesterday and while I've got quite a lot of frozen veg, other things are getting low. I've now got more 20% off  Lidl vouchers so plan to use them this week for meat and fish. I'm down to the last portion of Bolognese so definitely need some mince.

We'll have dinner a bit earlier than usual tonight to watch the football but not too early as, although I'm a big football fan, I'm getting tired of all the media hype so won't be watching the hours and hours of introduction leading up to kick off.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- veggie stir fry (S) with noodles (F)
D- HB steaks (P,S) roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns- sweet chilli sauce 1, weekend wine😁

It'll probably come down to luck or a stupid mistake. Italy are the more experienced and currently successful team but more choices of substitutes in the England squad. So 50/50.😉🤣

That's a long day for your DH bubbs. And for you as you have to take and fetch him. 😴☹️

I have space in my freezers at the moment but the veg includes swede and carrot mash, celeriac mash, red cabbage and butter beans that I cook myself. I do buy in frozen leeks and spinach and raspberries mainly. It all adds to the Speed. 😁 There's also some bread as we always have it from frozen. Then there's some 'junk' that DH eats like bratwurst at 11 syns for 1 sausage!!🤣
