Thanks all. The pain killers are definitely helping a bit. Felt a bit tired this afternoon so went to bed for just over an hour but I'm not really surprised as only had about 7-8 hours disturbed sleep over the last couple of nights.
DH is OK doing the shopping maman as long as I give him a list! He's going to prep a salad for my lunch tomorrow as he's booked to play golf! He'll do breakfast before he leaves (not that I can remember what I've put down on the plan, LOL!) and he'll do dinner in the evening.
I've got the start of a shopping list ready, just need to add a couple more things to it like fruit & veg. There's a couple of things on it that can wait until next week when we go to the town where Lidl and The Food Warehouse are. He'll also need to go to the butchers as we are completely out of low fat sausages and getting low on low fat burgers.
Be interesting to see whether not having picky tea and having at least some of your Healthy Extras bubbs makes any difference to your weight loss.

Let's hope having the HEXs has made a difference this week. Next week just enjoy and don't worry about SW and then come back from holiday and straight back on it.
Today hasn't gone to plan as have decided that I am still on holiday and as DH bought me the fudge I'm going to eat it and get it out of the way so I'll have a half on plan day tomorrow to finish off the fudge and then back on plan properly from Friday which would be my normal start of new week anyway.

Morning all. Glad to hear you're on the mend denise, enjoy your fudge!
Another busy day at work today so a quick pop in. Did a kickboxing workout this morning and realised that I really hate kickboxing, I just don't feel like it does much for me 🤷♀️ Breakfast was usual ff yogurt, fruit and granola, lunch is another tuna salad and dinner is going to be a melt in the middle fishcake for a couple of syns with some boiled potatoes, broccoli and green beans.
Hope everyone has a good day, off to make a coffee now.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Morning all,
Made the celery soup last night, brought some to work for my colleague plus a freddo as she is also a fellow calorie counter and its her birthday!
Glad you are feeling better @joedenise.... love fudge!
B – crunchy nut ss milk
L – celery soup, there’s no boiled eggs or chicken to be had so the side will have to be creative with cheese, pickles and ham
D – Tuna pasta salad or tuna bp
Not feeling confident for the scales this weekend but you never know, I have felt hungry the past two nights. Rather than snack last night I had the chilli with a large BP, plenty cheese and lots of mixed leaves cocktail onions spring onions – made my plate look rather full but in reality there was a lot of lettuce.

Morning all. The fudge went down really well last night - definitely made a pig of myself but at least it's gone now so I can get back on plan. Will weigh at home tomorrow morning to see what damage has been done!
The pain isn't quite as bad this morning although it is definitely still there. Still can't lift my arm without it hurting but at least it's not as bad. Still can't apply pressure without pain - can't even flush the loo using my right hand, have to do it left handed.
DH has gone to play golf this morning. As promised he's prepared me a cheese salad for lunch! He's not going to do the shopping on his way home as there is nothing we need immediately so we'll go tomorrow - at least that way I can be sure no biscuits end up in the trolley!
Today's plan:
B - eggs on toast - HEB; P
L - cheese salad - HEA2; S; F
D - cheesy pasta and bacon - P; S; F; 3.5
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - Schwartz cheese sauce mix 3.5 (half pack)
Have a good day everyone.

What a good idea to take a healthy lunch in for your colleague klew. I think it's so important to have someone supporting you when you're trying to lose weight. 😊
Glad you're starting to improve denise. It must be difficult trying to do things left handed.
It's essential to have an exercise that you enjoy ruby or you'll just give up. Good for you trying something different though. Which fishcakes do you have ? My DH really loves them but I've avoided them assuming they'd be high syn?
I've got my menu for today but I may change it as I'd prefer an easy freezer meal tomorrow when I'm a bit short of time and not have pasta two days running. I'll have to see what's available.🤔
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, raspberries (S)
L- JP (F), veggie chilli (P,S), cottage cheese (P), beetroot (S)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- 01 -
maman Morrisons do fishcakes with cheese in the middle and they are 2 syns each. Don't know if they are the same ones that ruby has though. These are the ones:
Morrisons The Best Melt in the Middle Scottish Salmon, Smoked Cod & Haddock Fishcakes with West Country Cheese Centre, chilled 2 pack (145g each)
2 Syns
Must be these ones though as the others are much higher syns - 5+ syns each so a big difference. I know that some at my old group used to have these regularly. I still haven't got round to trying them but may pick some up next time I'm in Morries (which will be when I need some more bread as I use their own brand WM 800g loaf as that is HEB for 2 slices).0
