Morning all.  Managed to get a few hours sleep last night but still not as much as I would have liked having only had 3 hours the previous night!

I hate not being able to get on and do things and sitting resting and doing nothing is doing my head in, LOL!  It's just not me.

Anyway I have done a menu plan most of which we already have in stock but will definitely need to do some shopping in a couple of days.  Today's plan:

B - breakfast hash - tinned potatoes, bacon, peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, spring onions fried up together and toped with a couple of eggs - P; S; F
    L - smoked salmon and cucumber sandwich - HEB; P; S; 3.5
    D - LO missed bean goulash & rice - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 3.5; 25g fudge 5.5

PS. DH is also getting all the washing done - 2 loads done and on the line; 3rd load in the machine and one more to go!

B – crunchy nut ss milk

    L – pot noodle – sob

D – LO chilli Bp and salad

Was starving last night, I had chilli rice and cheese on top but I had to have two rice cakes later on

Glad to hear you got some sleep and are resting up denise. What's your DH like at food shopping? 😉

I was hungry last night too klew. Generally I don't eat again after dinner but we ate early last night so i had some chocolate with a cuppa when I got home. Only about 3 syns worth of 70% cocoa which I enjoyed but don't want to make a habit of it. When I was getting to target I was far more sensible (like you were😇)  and sometimes made myself a small JP or salad late at night.

I don't think I'll bother with buying the Princes lean corned beef again. It's so much more expensive than normal and I still had to shave some fat off.

Well done on having the HEXs yesterday bubbs. How are you doing today? 🤔

There's a £5 (off 325) voucher in my newspaper for Lidl tomorrow. Don't know how widespread it'll be.

I've prepped tonight's dinner so just need to heat it through and cook pasta later. The recipe says to thicken the sauce with cornflour but it looks thick enough to me. I'm having wine syns tonight while watching the football. I haven't got the syns to spare this week and need to be extra good from tomorrow!

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), 2 fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- LO hash (P,F,S), fried egg (P), beetroot (S)
    D- sausage casserole (F,S), tagliatelle (F)
Syns- Aldi sausages 1, weekday wine syns😲

Well done on the HEXs. 👍

Just thought, there are lots of easy meals you could have that aren't any more work than reheating a pizza and spring rolls? Does DH 'cook' picky tea? 🤔
