Well done for posting katie. That's a good start. 😊 What's derailing you? Are you buying snacks out? Still eating Christmas goodies? Stuff available at work? Wine syns? IIRC you're at home and your mum is doing SW as well. Tell us how/when it's happening and we'll try to help. We've all been there. 😉

Well tonight's KFC was better than usual!  Not sure why but perhaps it was because the chicken was absolutely perfectly cooked rather than a bit overdone and a little bit dry!  Didn't have the creamy cabbage in the end as DH said Ugh it won't go with chips so beans as usual!  Saved a couple of syns for the Primula but added a couple for a  tsp of butter for the corn on the cob!

Enjoy your turkey crown on Sunday sary!  Glad to have been of help LOL!  But why not save the chicken thighs until tomorrow and then you can have the whole KFC experience tomorrow with the chips, corn & beans!

Katie as others have said "what are you having trouble with?".  Would it help to do a bit more planning and posting what you're having on here?  I find it helps me.  Also coming back on from time to time during the day to see what others are posting (but then I'm retired and have plenty of time! probably not as easy if you're working!).  We can't really help without more details.

Hey Katie, I've been struggling post xmas. I gues for me to get back on plan I need to do some meal planning and really do a thorough job with meals/snacks I really want to eat. Once I get past the first couple of days it becomes easier. Could you plan out snacks and have them to hand so when the "s** it" moment comes you can reach for something that is delicious and on plan?

We're having KFC tonight as well.😋 I'll post a link to the basic recipe when I can but I know I add a grated chicken stock cube as well as all the other ingredients posted earlier. I make up a batch too which lasts 3 or 4 meals.

I did my meal plan and shop today. Most things were available but no broccoli in Aldi!! We can live without it but maybe I'll pick some up on a walk sometime. We did 10 000 steps today as it was a lovely sunny day so we just kept on walking! 😁

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
    L - ham (P), bubble & squeak (F, S), beetroot, pickled cabbage (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), carrot chips, creamy cabbage with HEA 2, broccoli, mushrooms (S)
    Syns - weekend wine 😁
  • Hope everyone enjoyed their kfc as much as I enjoyed mine😀
