Absolutely agree but I still come on here first thing in the morning!

Think that's part of the problem, before you know it it's lunchtime!  I think I watch too many threads on MSE!

    Evening,
Aren't you a chatty bunch today

Welcome jabba good luck with your continued SW journey, and well done so far.

Food looks yummy as ever bubbs I do look forward to seeing your daily meals

Well it's been a funny old day for me.  Have had a bit of another nauseous day again on/off, which really does hamper me, so despite being very prepared, being unable to bear to eat my breakfast sort of had a knock-on effect.

B - porridge HEB, splash of milk from HEA1 with water & skinny syrup .... but I didn't eat it until midday!
L - cup of tea.  I nipped home for lunch, and felt really yuk, so had a cuppa laid on the sofa before returning to work
    snack - banana & alpen bar (6)
D - HM burger, SW chips, mushrooms, onions, gherkin, bacon & cheese HEA2

I had prepared a tub of SF jelly/mango/ff yogurt that I took back to work with me, but I didn't feel like it, but was hungry so had the banana and muesli bar instead with a cuppa.  I'm sure it will all be back to normal again tomorrow.
I didn't feel too great before dinner, but since eating and sitting down I've actually felt okay again.  Having an earlier night, and hoping that will help do the trick.  I'm suspecting my stress levels are the cause, because I've also had the sensation of having a lump in my throat and very dry tongue, which I've googled and is a known symptom of stress, caused by silent acid reflux, which also causes the nausea.  I am trying to stay calm!! hehe
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

    Morning all,
Hope you feel better today @sarymclary

Heavy snow was expected here today so I had my rucksack packed for a walk to work but instead it has been a mix of rain and snow so the roads are clear but the paths are pretty slippy. I prepared a packed lunch but looks like I am having it at home, which is good. Tuna, sweetcorn, spring onions, celery, chives, pickled onions, bit of mayo to mix it all together, a hand full of pasta and 2 boiled eggs,

Tonight's tea I'm going to stuff a chicken breast with cheese and spinach, wrap a bacon medallion round it and hope for the best. Using up the contents on the fridge!

  • Morning all! Good losses all round so we are all back on the straight and narrow.  I have a 2lb loss, however, I am only going to record 1lb with SW.  As I am having to weigh in the morning, when we are generally lighter, I think if I do this then by the time we get to weigh at group again, hopefully my weight will be more or less agreeing with their scales, and at least I know that I won't be taking a bad hit, hope that makes sense.  Like Denise, I am a slow loser, so this was a good loss for me.

Bought a load of chicken in Costco last night (was in there for work, so not unnecessary trip!), so will be batch cooking this weekend, really need to tidy my freezer, and stack different meals.

    Have a good one everyone

Morning all.  What a horrible day - it's absolutely tipping it down here.  Was really hoping to be able to get my washing out on the line today but the dry day we were forecast hasn't happened!  Have ended up putting it in the tumble dryer as don't like drying towels on the airer.

What pate have you made bubbs?  I love chicken liver pate but haven't made it for ages but it's not a syn free recipe I use!

Great loss GTQ - don't think I've ever lost 2lb in a week!  Enjoy the batch cooking over the weekend.  It's great having HM ready meals in the freezer, isn't it?  I really must get some more batch cooking done.  I've got a few curries in the freezer but that's about it at the moment.

I've finally had a loss!  Now a lb down so at least it's finally started moving, just hope now it's started moving it will carry on and I can get back into the bottom half of target again - seems a very long time since I was there!

    Today's plan:

    B - porridge, mixed fruit - HEB; S
    L - LO leek and barley soup - P; S; F
    D - cottage pie, veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
    Syns - none planned

Have a good day and keep safe everyone.
