Morning all. Had an awful stress filled day yesterday where I had to go on site for some additional training for redeployment but ended up having to sit in my car between sessions because they've closed the seating areas in the canteen, coffee shops, education centre etc. to rightly stop people from congregating in spaces but it doesn't help when you don't have a ward or office to go to because it's not your site. All the patient areas were open but didn't fancy sitting down there so the car it was. Got myself a little stressed by the whole thing, especially when there was a moment where myself and one of the instructors thought I might have Covid again because it appeared I'd lost my sense of taste and smell, so I only ate a banana all day and when I got home I ate a whole bunch of chocolate. Had a long chat (and a bit of a cry) with DH because my anxiety is going through the roof at the moment due to everything happening in the world and isn't being helped by the whole work situation, but ended the evening feeling a little better.
Woke up feeling a ton better this morning and happier with what I can see in the mirror even if I secretly know that the binge eating is going to show itself on the scales next week. Taking it a moment at a time and that's all I can do. Had a banana for breakfast as wasn't hungry and will be shortly having some veggie soup with some bread for lunch. Dinner is going to be a mushroom bolognese but it's a sauce from a jar and no idea on syns - we got it in a hamper last year and it's some weird artisanal small company so doubt it's on the SW radar.

Morning all,
Thanks for the kind wishes. I am feeling better today, and I agree Denise, I do think it is a hang-over from Covid-19, as it certainly aggravated it, but I had bouts like this before CV19 just not so frequently or lasting so long.
Snowy day here for us, but not expecting it to stick for long.
Plan is a work in progress:
B - porridge heb & splash of milk with water & skinny syrup & cinnamon
L - Tomato soup (I'm going to put this on when I get home at lunchtime); yogurt/jelly/mango/strawberries
D - undecided. I'm not cooking for OH tonight, so may be something simple for myself - will check freezer
Stay warm and dry if you can todayOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Well done loosers :😁😁
Denise i use chicken livers, bacon , onion , garlic and mixed herbs. Whizzed it up wen it was cooked and then added 3 heaped tsp ff greek yoghurt, the recipe said creme fraiche, but i never have that so thought ff greek yog would do the job and it did.
It was nice

Well done gtq and denise on your losses. Delighted for you both!😊 It seems everyone is getting back into the swing of things post Christmas this week. It doesn't always show on the scales immediately.
Glad to hear you;re both feeling better today sary and ruby. These are such trying times. I know what you mean about non-essential journeys. I wondered about going to B&Q the other day for some DIY stuff DH needed klew. Then I figured that they wouldn't be open if we werent supposed to use them. You were buying food so that's definitely essential. 😉
It's been wet and miserable here all morning, then the rain stopped and it's now drier but windy and much colder. Not a day for venturing far.
Good to see you're having a day at home bubbs. Not exactly restful but very productive. 😇
I'm pleased to be starting a new week with a full syn bank. I came in just a few under last week but I'd like to do better. I do feel relatively slim. I'd say I'm still at the top end of range but don't think too far off. Although we're unlikley to be able to weigh in person anytime soon I don't want to let things get out of control.
You could put that sauce through the syns estimator ruby but maybe better not to know, just use it up and then it's gone. 🤔

Morning all,
minus 3 here and very icy, a lot of dancing round the car trying to defrost it and keep warm at the same time! Hence deciding a cup a soup must be had a lunchtime so there is something warm inside as I have cold tuna pasta salad for lunch! Tonight is undecided but lots of peppers and mushrooms to use up so might make a little curry again. Weigh in tomorrow, I have been good, and drank loads of water so fingers crossed it shows on the scales! Have a good weekend everyone,
