jabba  - Sorry didn't mean to rant but sometimes get annoyed when people who don't know what things are normally like assume that they know better.  bubbs has actually lost over 5 stone so obviously knows what's she's doing!  Anyway welcome to the thread and please feel free to post what you are eating, how much you need to lose and how long you have been following the plan and what you've lost so far.

So once again apologies for my outburst and welcome! :)

Well I guess I did the same as you (apart from the annoyed bit) and did no know what things were normally like, as I am a newbie. Thanks for the apology and the welcome :-) I can see this is a really good and supportive group to be part of so looking forward to the tips!
Lost 15lbs so far (was 12.7 now 11.6 - goal 10 stone or in my fantasy world, 9.7!) - started last October so about 1lb a week - slow and steady, me ;-)

Welcome, I am a newbie too, I joined around august. I like this group for motivation and also food ideas, it is easy to get stuck in a rut of having the same things.

I was reading about the blood sugar diet last night which is based loosely around the Mediterranean diet, again, I don’t think im far off with what I do on slimming world

I got to target way back in 2012 and have been there or thereabouts ever since - although hovering around top end at the moment and having trouble shifting it back into the lower half.  I've been static since Christmas Eve so not all bad!  I was only losing 0.5lb most weeks to get there.  lb a week is good - comes off slowly more likely to stay off.

Have got my soup ready for lunch already.  Just need to reheat it and add the coconut milk before serving.  Looking forward to it as find it really filling with the pearl barley in it so will definitely keep me full until this evening.

Hello jabba and welcome😊. You've done well considering you joined during the pandemic when SW is hardly functioning normally. This is a super supportive and friendly  thread which is especially useful with no RL groups operating at the moment.  If you have any questions just ask and you'll probably get an answer more quickly than from SW. 😉

It's hard to follow how much cheese you've used altogether klew but don't forget you have the second HEA (assuming you use the first for drinks) if it's Danish Blue. You can have 35g  but not stilton or gorgonzola?? 🤔 Except for Christmas, I just keep Parmesan and Primula in the fridge and a bag of grated cheddar in the freezer as I know they're all HEAs. That way I can get cheesy taste in a few recipes but rarely tempted to snack as I know I would be if a block of cheese was calling me from the fridge.

It's drizzly here but a positively tropical 11 degrees! 😁 We got out for a walk and managed 6000 steps without trying. So that's some Body Magic in for the day.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
L-  LO Ham Hash (F,P,S), pickled cabbage (S)
    D- SW Bolognese (P,S), pasta (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- HP sauce 1

Yum! 😋 Cottage pie is going on next week's meal plan. 😊

You've had plenty of food today but no breakfast as such . I think you may need to go back to work. You had regular meals then. 🤣
