    Evening
    fab losses - well done!

agree about needing definitive guidance and rules about lockdown. It’s too wishy washy and so many more places still open. They were complaining on our local FB page that peope
were queued up the street not distancing to get their Costa in town today. My office has most staff in unlike last March when we were furloughed. Boss travelled in with 2 other staff (family) each from different households, from
the town in Lincs with the highest number of covid cases. What can you do except shake your head and sanitise yourself thoroughly.

Ruby massive respect for the job you do.

    Plan today:
    B - banana & Allen light 3.5
L - porridge HEB, splash milk from HEA1, water & skinny syrup
    snack - sf jelly (0.5)
d - hm lasagne (3) for sauce cheese from
    HEA2

WI today and pleased with 3lb loss. That’s my Xmas gain gone. Now to shift the 3020 lockdown gain.

One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Morning all.  Well done on all the losses this week.  I ended up demolishing a box of ferrero rocher as well last night.  I thought I'd managed to get my emotional eating under control but obviously not.  Drawing a line under it and starting again today.  Not feeling too hungry this morning so I've had my coffee and will have some fruit if I'm peckish before lunch which is going to be beans on toast with grated cheese.  Dinner is chinese style beef and broccoli with rice and kimchi which I'm very much looking forward to.  Hope everyone is staying safe and looking after yourselves.

    Morning all,

made mawkway chicken curry last night with chicken, onion, mushrooms and peppers, very simple but satisfying – going to roast veggies to have with it tonight to go easy on the rice – lentil soup and boiled eggs for lunch again today.

@bubbs that pie looks like a real pie!

Morning all.  Just back from shopping.  Only went to Morries as didn't need anything specific from L*dl which is much further away.  Really needed fruit and eggs plus I wanted to get some rump steak for a beef in black bean sauce tomorrow night and eggs, well I always seem to be running out of those!  Will use the last half dozen tomorrow for breakfast in scrambled eggs.

Glad I got my washing done yesterday and it's really horrible today, wet, windy and very grey although apparently it's supposed to be getting brighter later but we will see!

    Today's plan:

    B - breakfast hash, fried eggs - P; S; F
L - burger and onions in French stick - S; 11 (that's just for half a part baked!)
D - sweet and sour pork, rice - P; S; F (using up the LO roast pork)
    S - Ryvita; HM hummus - HEB; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - Ryvita
Syns - half part baked French stick 10.5; burger 0.5

Will freeze the other half part baked for another time (assuming of course DH wants a whole one!).

Well done for drawing that line ruby. It's a new day.😉

I'm glad it's not just me that thinks a bowl of soup isn't enough today klew. 😊

Did you find it any quieter in the shops or on the roads denise? 🤔 I can't work out why we're having a lighter lockdown than before  when the virus is more virulent than ever.  Mixed messages are infuriating. The other thing I've noticed is queues to pay in shops, even in Aldi which is very unusual. I'm wondering if they've cut back on staff  or whether people are shopping because there's nothing else to do!

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk
L- lentil and veg soup (P,S), cold pork (P), beetroot (S)
D- Austrian Ham Hash (F,P,S), cauli, broccoli, cabbage (S)
    Syns- 0

I have got a few syns left but no plans to use them.

The roads and the shop were quieter today.  We don't often go to Morries apart from eggs but decided to do it all there.  Considering they were saying they were going to have security guards on duty at the door there wasn't a single one on duty when we went in - there usually is so I find that a bit weird!  Having said that I think the threat of not allowing people in without a mask may of actually worked as didn't see a single person without a mask today.

Ended up freezing one of the part baked loaves as DH said half would do him too - although have to say he did have a slice of toast when we got in from shopping so probably wasn't as hungry.

There are always queues in both Aldi and Lidl whenever I've been and usually Tesco's too.  Morrisons don't seem to have queues usually and certainly none today.

  • I was in Sainsbury's on Sunday and only realised, to my utmost embarrassment, when I got to the checkout that I didn't have my mask on, felt so guilty, especially as I always have one in my coat pocket, so there was no excuse not to wear it. Today, I had to nip up the road to bank a cheque for work, every single person was wearing one outside, except me! I can't win :(  However, I was standing in the queue to get into the bank, it was a strict 1 in, 1 out system, masked up, carrying a business banking envelope, and had been for about 5 mins, when I got to the front, only to be told I had not needed to queue!
A smile costs little but creates much :)

    Afternoon all

Well done everyone for the great losses this week.
Despite my 'roses incident' 😂 last Thursday I am pleased to say I have also managed to bring it back and got a 1lb loss this week. That's my first half stone. Very happy with that. I was hoping and praying for a maintain this week so a loss is a major bonus 😁

Going to be super on plan this week so hopefully a good loss next week too
    :AWhatever it is - I didn't do it!:A
